- Building A Secret Droid Base In The Mountain | Building A LEGO Star Wars City! I am tired of building giant LEGO structures so it's time to switch gears and build a droid base! Under ground and connected to the surface via turbolifts this will be a fun build full of detail! I also have to fix a big oversight I made with the maintenance cage and one of the holes on the main bridge. All that coming at you via lego time lapse builds!

You should add a maintenance vent into the side of the rock work to show the entrance for how Delta squad infultrate the secret base.

Little things like the base are great for adding life to the MOC but more importantly it means you’re not getting bored of repetitive building, best thing you can do is have fun with it. Can’t wait to see it all finished

It's just an idea but i would be so cool if there were like pipes under the roof of the droid base and comando clones comming down inside the base, secretly flanking the droids.
Love this, especially if combined with my idea of having a vent into the side of the rock work showing how Delta Squad infiltrate the base

MOC looking amazing! Personally I would put blinking light in that droid room. I think it would make it look even more like it is attacked.

Love how you are still adding amazing details into small parts of the build, the base lighting looks great, and the corner rockwork is really creative!
Maybe for greater variety of units you can use plain white snowtroopers and give them the galactic marine clothes, basically plain republic snowtroopers like the ones from keller‘s unit, also you could use p2 grunts and give them scuba respiration apparatus and wintercloaks (white cape on the back and front) as a sort of „cheap“ winter equipment, maybe this way u wont need as many galactic marines and will get more variety which will make the moc more interesting

Looking awesome! You could raise the floor of the elevator by 1 plate, and then use the dark bluish grey grate pieces to give the floor a little more finished of a look. Can't wait to see whats next!
Love the progress on the MOC, a cool addition to the droid base could be Scorch planting some kind of explosive on the other droid pod to destroy it since he’s the demolitions expert of Delta Squad. Can’t wait to see more updates on the MOC man!

I do have a suggestion for the droid base :
A visibly angry shady general looking at a green hologram
I feel like a staircase thats cutout the side like a super mario level going down to the droid base would be sick.
Also if you fold the droids in so the stud on the back is horizontal you could attach them to the bottom of a plate and fit 2 rows in the tubes.
Also dont forget to add blaster storage

Pretty sick- a few things I think you should add in the droid base : a little landing pad sort of like in Utapau- you could have an evacuation of all high ranking Separatist officials or it could be landing droid reinforcements. It’s all up to you but just a though

I would highly suggest to use techniqe bricks to connect the parts of the main bridge. They still allow for modularity but also are stoner than just plates and bricks stacked

For the delta squad taking the droid base you should add a vent system with some light just on the top of the base so the delta squad is going there and trying to surprise the droids

Awesome episode to the MOC series, your MOC series episodes always inspire me, and make me want to start on a new MOC I have been thinking about doing Corelia or an Emperial base.
Coconut I have a suggestion for the droid base I think the you should have a member a delta squad come up the elevator but I also think that you should have a commando come out of droid tunnel in the from like he killed all the droids in that tunnel then blew it open so that way it will be more like a stealth operation because in stealth operation s they have several entry points keep up the great works

What’s ur biggest tip for building these large scale mocs?
as we know you like to incorporate delta squad in your mocs, and In your last moc (coruscant) you said that you knew that delta never was on coruscant, however, funny thing is that they actually were, they were there trying to shut down a separatist terror cell. And also if you didnt know delta was actually also on Mygeeto with their training sergeant Valon Wau to rob a bank that held over 53 million credits that belonged to Waus family. so even tho Delta is doing something completely diffrent it would be cool if you could add a black armored Mandalorian that represents Wau as an easter egg.
I don't remember if you went over it or not for the pillar that the lower bridge goes though but an idea I had was what it the pillar split apart and wrap around the bridge instead of on the bridge like you have it
You can use technic Lego to make the bridge stronger and sag less

Why didn't you just rotate the pillar 180° so the maintenance ladder is on the other side of the bridge? Then the end of the bridge lines up where you want, and you don't have to dismantle anything?

Just out of curiosity... When you first discover a problem like the hole in the bridge/ladder placement; On a scale of 1-10 how frustrated are you? Is it a deep sigh/hang your head for a moment and charge on, or is a scream at the ceiling and barely contain the urge to hulk-smash the thing?
Also for the maintence ladder shouldnt you have a opening to it like one with clips or hinges

Depends on the size of the vase plate and what your lighting.
