Thanks a ton for the step-by-step tutorial. The service is ensuring to keep the drive open but it is loaded in read-only mode. I am not able to edit anything if use the drive mounted through NSSM. But when I open CMD and mount manually, it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Hi, just make sure that the manual command that you use to mount drive is same in the nssm. To do that, edit the nssm service and cross check once. Do let us know if you were able to get it to work.
@@DropCorp No luck yet. However, my project is all about Excel + MS Access Macros and I added few codes to map the drive automatically when the excel is opened. This had solved the issue temporarily.
Does Rclone have the same function as Google Drive file stream ?, I mean I can create, read, update and delete my files directly through file explorer without even need to go to Google Drive web page and download the files that I need ?
Hi, yes, you can view files as if you are viewing Google drive in a browser. , you don't download anything except for metadata. Rclone acts as a platform for you to mount your Google drive as a local drive/Samba share.

@@sonicthedgehog9473 No problem with you asking questions. rclone just acts as a platform b/w ur explorer and drive. and any change u do In ur explorer, it gets reflected in ur gdrive. once u set up rclone u don't need go to a gdrive webpage. :D
Hello, I wanted to ask how long the cache is stored and will there be file losses if I download the torrent directly to the mounted google drive using nssm?
Actually no, the cache remains until you shutdown your pc. So if you want to like pause and continue , you oughta be hibernating your computer not shutdown, that way you can still preserve the cache. Plus you can download directly to google drive, nssm is just a utility to mount your google drive persistently as a local drive. It has nothing to do with your download. In torrent(bittorrent/Utorrent/Qbittorrent) all you have to do is give your drive(ur GD which is mounted as a local drive) location. yu are good to go.

@@lesensteiner4553 Yes, if you hibernate your Computer, it will save the last working state in the DISK and shutdown, that way, all you cached files will remain intact.
@@DropCorp Are there traffic restrictions in Rclone? What happens if I download 2 or more torrents in parallel? As I understand it, the loss of files will be when the disk is full. I had experience when I took vps and it was clear from the console that files were being lost, but there I immediately started 5 simultaneous downloads, and looked that the disk was full and not cleaned, later I went in and saw that the disk was cleaned and I wanted to ask if it was worth whether to download 1 at a time or can several at once? :) Thank you.
@@lesensteiner4553 rclone just acts as a bridge between your cloud and your Operating system. any restrictions is only imposed by your cloud drive. No such restrictions are imposed by rclone.

This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error. If the problem persist, contat your system administratot.'' Can you help me?
Hey hi, but please tell us, were you able to run the command in cmd and get the drive mounted as a local drive??(as in part 1)?? if yes and only you couldnt start the service, then some commands are wrong in the nssm. Try editing the service you are trying to start with nssm. and can you post the exact command here??

From your comment what we infer is that , you watched the first video and tried the command given on the first video and you couldnt get any folder in the explorer??? Could you kindly let us know the following:- 1. From the 1st video, when you authenticated your google account to allow rclone, did you get a "Succeeded" message?? yes ?? no?? 2. From the 1st video, did this command created a folder in your explorer(ur google drive) "rclone mount --vfs-cache-mode full googledrive:/ P: " yes ?? no?? please clarify, we would love to help you out

You need to set your user in "Log On" tab. Put your username and password in that, not for Local System. It's works for me.
