Great new channel Dan. I would be interested to know what you think of Value Alliance, Vanilla Alliance, and U-Fly. The sort of things that would be interesting to hear about include how the two LCC alliances differ from the legacy carrier alliances, and whether regionally based alliances are much benefit for passengers or the airlines over other options like codesharing.
Theres one airline that is supported by their amazing Government. Emirates. Emirates is very confident without an alliance I do not seeing them join an alliance soon. Sir Tim Clark and the Emirates team are already proud so I don't think that will be happening any time soonm
@@frxxseazsn Emirates is an interesting airline. Emirates has a close partnership with Qantas. Qantas is part of the One World Alliance. Emirates recently formed a partnership with United Airlines. United Airlines is part of the Star Alliance.
@@Alfextreme007 Qantas Airways partnership with Emirates is a sore point with Oneworld Member Qatar Airways. I have benefited from airline alliances. I have been able to accumulate and use miles in each of the alliances where I am a member of one of the partner airlines. But I have found that each member of the alliance doesn't always offer the best route when searching on their websites, but instead pushes their service first even if an alliance member offers a more convenient routing. So, you need to check on several partner websites to get the best deal and most convenient routing.
Really excellent explanation here and for the best one is Oneworld Alliance because Emerald Status gives you access to a first class Lounge followed by Star Alliance Gold. Airline Alliance FFQs I have are Skyteam Alliance Skypass Oneworld Alliance Asia Miles
Well experience!!!! I am such a big airline lover from a long time ago!!! Very interesting video! I've already liked it! Our Croatia Airlines is below STAR ALLIANCE!!!! I wish I became a flight attendand on Croatia Airlines or on a Ryanair, Easy Jet or Wizzair some day!!!! Best wishes from Croatia 😘
In terms of benefit, I think Oneworld is the best as Emerald status you can go to any first class lounge with economy ticket. For connectivity Star Alliance is the best, but their mileage earning for codeshare is a mess, sometimes it maps into a non earning class! As for Skyteam I find their entry status (Elite) is the best compare to *A and OW, they lack of good carrier and I fly them the least.
Oneworld is like an aeronautical equivalent of the British Empire. British Airways/Qatar (now one and the same) run the show and their lackeys in American and Qantas feed them with connecting traffic.
I am very happy that there are these three global airline alliances. I've got a frequent flyer account in the One World Alliance. I've got a frequent flyer account in the Star Alliance. Oman Air is currently in the process of joining the One World Alliance. Virgin Atlantic is currently in the process of joining the SkyTeam Alliance. Do you think that Etihad will ever join an alliance?
If I recall correctly, it's a feature of TubeBuddy and/or vidIQ, and it's basically A/B testing (generic term for what TH-cam calls 'experiments') where someone makes multiple thumbnails, uploads them into the app instead of directly to TH-cam, and those apps then log the amount of views that come in and pick a thumbnail to keep. I've seen this done on channels owned by Linus Media Group where some videos switch between different thumbnails and/or titles before settling.
It’s possible to reach milestones without an alliance partner, but depending on you’d size and geographic location alongside competitor airlines position it can negatively impact.

What if they joined then they might had lesser difficulties, and their network would be bigger since there are a lot of Filipinos all around the world and they could've helped more in promoting the tourism in the country and the local enterprises
Their performance has been nothing about great milestones. They have been struggling along for years. The biggest reason they haven't joined an alliance were safety restrictions (ie banned from European airspace for an extended period) and lack of IT infrastructure needed to integrate with the alliance systems. They do have codeshare agreements with over 10 carrier.

Miles became a sore point with credit card shopping spend conversion to miles then points inflation back to frequent flyer types then to basically business class frequent flyer usage patterns. Lounges had become widely accepted and people are willing to pay for per use lounge with amenities, independent of class and airline and alliance and big businesses (bank priority cards with lounge access)... walking distance between specific lounges... Code sharing is a burden if airline have to maintain business class or first class seat configurations for others. Modern lifestyle mobile-computers makes prebooking flights and missing connecting flights the problem of paranoid politicians who fear losing control of people they didn't enslave. Others should just buy a connecting flight ticket after arriving
As a Star Alliance Gold member via United, I appreciated using priority lanes and Star Alliance lounges overseas.

The only way you wouldn't see a benefit of an alliance, is if you've never had status with one. Great video well explained Dan 🙏🏻
Absolutely

I have flown with all 3 alliances and found Sky Team the better. I know there is also the Value Alliance but they aren't extensive enough.
Thanks for your feedback!
Well explained easy to understand video 👍 loving it dan and the team

Just all depends on where you're located as to which alliance is best
Damn, well done video! Can’t wait to see more of these!
Thank you so much!
Great video, nice and understandable!
Thank you
I f follow you on DJ's Aviation and your transit page I see you now have this keep up the good work buddy love your content
Disadvantage is booking 5 stars reliable on-time airlines only to be Codeshare with 3 stars.

Can you make a video comparing alliance vs codeshare vs interline agreement vs airline groups.
Great suggestion! I’ve noted this down
What’s the difference between alliances and partnerships? Thx
Great suggestion we’ll Explore that
Yo dj have u found an idea for my MANGO Airlines Video? I sent u something in the comments. But if your in the making it then everything's OK!
We have hundreds of ideas, it’s just about planning and making the time to get to them :)
Would love to see a comparison of each of the alliances and your personal opinion on which is your favourite.
how have i seen 3 thumbnails on this one video-
oh well, great video!
Experimenting with thumbnails as we launch the channel, all part of understanding video performance over time and the algorithm 😊

Sounds like price fixing to me.
There is plenty of competition out there.
