Can't beat a good bit of saw action! Glad the Hawksmore has broken in and starts easier now. At the printers where I work, my boss brings in his STIHL MS211 saw & STIHL HS45 hedgetrimmer once a year and we go to town on the various trees and shrubbery in the yard, its really great fun!
A guy today was taking some of our scrap pallets and had a little Dewalt electric pruning saw to cut them up to fit in his transit. Tiny thing but worked fine for pallet wood. Very much appreciate this update, more logging/saw content in the future please.

@@GeorgeSaunders Husky definitely the best saw, you need a lesson in sharpening yours though, I think, should cut better than that.

Those electric chainsaws on a pole are VERY handy. Keeps you off a ladder and they can reach into a thorn brier when needed. Also, when I saw that pile of logs I immediately thought of my bow chainsaw. Saves my back because you stand upright and let the saw cut straight down. Plunge cuts. The weight of the bow saw does all the work. ✌

I have a few different saws including an old 1989 husky 268 xp, it weighs a ton but can cut through hard wood like no bodies business when the chains had a tickle! Thanks George. 👍

When you start cutting on the curve ,one side of the chain is sharper than the other, similar results if the bar is worn but most likely chain

We've just got the milwaukee battery saw it arrived today and we have been putting it through its paces this afternoon. It is certainly easier than messing with stale fuel etc.

Have a Parkside electric chainsaw. Dad uses it on this very rural school bus run to maintain the hedge and protect this mirror. Doesn't wake-up or draw attention of anyone 😂

Both the DeWalt and Katsu look like they have either a skip chain or semi skip chain which would go some way to explain their poor performance, unlike the Stihl with a full house chain. Battery saws are best kept for occasional use, and not a replacement for a petrol saw. Good comparison of the saws none the less. 🇬🇧🚜👍

Nice saws, I use a handsaw & axe, it's not a big stove. 4inch is the diameter of the biggest branches I'd be cutting. 2 years stacked of the ground ( outside) & in lengths & it's good ta go. Ash & white thorn.

I get nervous when you use the chainsaws without good ppe - chainsaw chaps, steel toed boots instead of rubber wellies. I enjoy your videos and don't want you chopping bits off!!!

No patience for any battery saw......way too expensive, mega slow and batteries will only cycle so long until the micro computer in them tells them to stop, then buy more.....useless!
