Put on your ugliest underwear, put the fresh pad in, set the ugly underwear somewhere safe, wipe your private part before getting into the shower so blood won't suddenly appear on the surface (ugh), prepare a nearby trashcan and some folded toilet paper beside you to wipe with afterwards, then put on the new pad in ugly underwear.
Possible period cramps remedy: a comment said hot water + cinnamon. Mines are taking Benylin extra strength syrup or Tylenol.

I felt nothing until I graduated high school and became a happier, less anxiety filled contributing member of society.
I remember in school this girl was in her, I think English, and she started her period. She stood up and the chair was covered in blood. The teacher was trying to think about what to do with the chair and the boys were practically having a heart attack whilst she was laughing along with the other girls, as they helped her.
And the same girl in P.E, our entire term was fitness so she was doing the exercises and she started her period. The P.E teacher was really nice and gave her a whole packet of pads and let her sit on the side line for the entire class.

when i first started my period it used to be three days long and pain free but now it’s four-five days long with constant headaches, cramps, throwing up and random burst of anger/sadness. my first day is always the worst. so bad that i can’t move and once had fainted from the pain and guys still have the audacity to say it’s not painful and to just “man up”

21 days of bleeding is not normal for anyone (maybe your literal first period as a child maybe but not after). if anyone gets that, they should be seeing a gynecologist. If it isn't a symptom of a very serious issue (which is possible), it will definitely cause serious issues from that amount of blood loss, anemia and shit is a very serious possible issue.
also just because the gynecologist is a woman doesn't mean shit. from a lot of people online, they're actually the worse gynecologists because they can just claim your very serious problem is normal or over exaggerating because they clearly know your body better than you because they're a woman even though you're the one that's physically attached to your body and see it 24/7. of course they can be amazing, and the male ones can be awful but the good male ones sure as hell are more likely to take you seriously because he doesn't understand it beyond the scientific aspect her paid to learn.

I'm on my third day.
Cramps are a hit or miss with me. I use to get them so badly that I would lie awake all night because they were so painful- these days it hasn't been bad.
