This whole album is fun to jam along with on guitar. It's very generic in parts and the production could've been better, but I can't help but love it. These bands had to start somewhere, and this really wasn't bad. I feel the same about Violators debut Chemical Assault, that album has amazing thrashers too. It's crazy how we can look back on these records over a decade later and feel nostalgic now. Young bands that looked up to the forefathers of thrash have now also become a part of metal history as well. The thrash revival was a success, it's active and well even today. Many bands sprouted from the revival have come and gone however, but there's still bands going strong carrying the torch. Warbringer is one of those great examples, they've been through their struggles a few years back almost breaking up the band entirely. Now they're way better than before especially with the latest record Weapons of Tomorrow. That album is fucking killer.
Very well said brother, I remember all the slack and bad reviews these guys got even having the metalcore tag thrown at them and being thrown into some made believe thrash 'mallcore' scene. It's ridiculous. They didn't deserve it, They've come very far indeed.
***** So did I, 18/2 in Gothenburg \m/. Too bad that their drum kicks weren't that loud, but hell I had a good time! The frontman brought such energy to the scene, it was insane. Got to see everything from Mic shooting, shadow bolting, scary looking and nose emptying :D
I had fallen into a death metal phase so to speak and this band reminded me how much i loved thrash at one point and ever since there first album I've been listening to thrash consistently again although now i listen to a wide variety of metal i still say thank you Warbringer!
I remember seeing this being promoted on That Metal Show back in 8th grade right after my older cousins introduced me to thrash. I thought this was the greatest song ever lol
Metal head and hockey player stupid Dominican barber didn't understand English and just figured because of how long my hair was it was time too basically give me a fade and a 3 on top or sum shit like the cut is nice but wtf my culture 🤧
Saw them back in December with Megadeth. Crowd didn't know what to make at first, but by the end of the set they were screaming for more. Tremendously great live band!
I remember when this came out in myspace days, around 2009 and they played at the whisky (venue) a lot . I went to those gigs. Then they late came out with waking into nightmares and played at the whisky still 🤣
My band just played with these guys last night! It was really amazing. I talked to both John Laux and Kevill for a while and got both of their signatures! They're both really nice guys!
I can't understand how some people think Warbringer are overrated. I've seen them live 3 times now and each time their performance was increasingly better. If anything, they're underrated.
These guys are epic i saw them a few weeks back in NYC!!! Sadly their set got cut short but they were able 2 squeeze this song in!!! And John Laux (their guitarist) gave me one of his picks!!! I practice wit it everyday!!!
Went to see Arch Enemy yesterday, and these guys were supporting them. Never heard them before, but they BLEW ME AWAY! And my friend popped his knee in the pit, that's how awesome they were haha
My band is playing with warbringer in a month, i can't wait... my favorite new wave thrash band, and i can't believe i've seen them live last year and now i'm playing with them in the same place! Feels good!
hahah their drummer was held up at the Canadian border. so john (singer) comes on stage "hey guys...were kinda fucked cause nic our drummer was held up at the border, but were gunna wing this and our guitarist and our tour manager will be playing drums " but ya still pulled off an amazing show and they brought the spirit of heavy thrash back !!! WARBRINGER!!!!
I'm so glad that they close their sets with this song. Such an awesome way to go out and if its at a smaller club john will usually jump into the crowd after \m/
I remember when Warbringer opened for like every single goddamn metal band that came true my city. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them live.
I went to that tour. They fucking dominated, just liek they dominated when I saw them open for Kreator and Exodus earlier in the year. One of my favorite new bands. These guys are gonna be around for a loooooooong time.
They were a great opening band last night. Zero complaints. I like how the drummer liked to ... stand a lot, lol. Great shit. Iced Earth and Symphony X owned too.
Warbringer, Havok, and Violator are my favorite modern day thrash bands! the power chords and double bass drumming sounds like Metallica’s Dyers Eve. This should of been the finale song for War Without End!
@dewiowen1 I was there too. I was protecting my pint from th side of the mosh pit before getting caught up in that massive circle pit lol. was a great night and these guys were awesome!!
I was going to see Violator with Fueled by Fire in June/July but the show just disappeared without any explanation. I bought tickets for the Municipal Waste secret show with Mutant, which was cancelled. Now I am going to get tickets for Warbringer and Skeletonwitch in London in September, which will hopefully go ahead lol.
judging from a lot of the thrash that comes out these days, i felt like thrash was dying. then warbringer came along and resurrected it like a fucking pheonix from the ashes!
i love how these guys are musically tight but their instruments have that old school quality sound.
When you see a Bathory shirt... you know shit's about to go down
@Randi Szöküld Go say that to Varg Vikernes, Jon Nödtveidt, or Gaahl. No balls
Randi Szöküld there is nothing emo about BM, it was made before emo existed dude
@Randi Szöküld haha fucking hilarious. You are a total moron

I remember watching this video on headbanger's ball back in the day. I got to see warbringer this past Friday and they still kick ass.

Seen them twice, excellent show, will do again
I've seen em live ... I even smoked a cigarette with kevill

I thought this was the greatest song ever lol
production sounds sooo old school it's awesome!!
Been looking for this song since forever 🌝❤️
Warbringer, Municipal Waste, Annihilator and some other bands are totaly underrated.
war to end all wars underrated af i love how the songs have lyrics like "Blown to bits by a hail of lead"
warbringer is AMAZING, both live, and on album.
Ez őrület a klippel együtt,őket sem hallottam még, köszi.,
I regret cutting my hair.
I shaved my head and now people say I look like phil anselmo

It's like slayer but with good guitarists, I like it!
***** Big L and Metallica, rap and metal, I love that. There is no many like us.
Sago 90 fuck yeah
***** yes, I am xD
Eh I wouldn't say the guitarists are better they can be a bit sloppy but theyre a way newer band so they have plenty of time to "tighten" up
fuck you Jeff Hanneman was the shit.. RIP his soul
Hell yeah. I saw them in KC earlier this year with Soilwork. Great show, and I got to chat with John...super nice guy. Can't wait to see them again.
Rip that drummer
I do love the fact they are super tight and those guitars are screaming!
Real thrash
My band just played with these guys last night! It was really amazing. I talked to both John Laux and Kevill for a while and got both of their signatures! They're both really nice guys!
Warbringer.
Havok.
Lazarus AD.
Evile.
The New Big Four.
Lazarus AD would be replaced by Power Trip imo
Power trip should absolutely be in the new big 4 if there was one.
Fueled by Fire?
Gama Bomb > Evile
MantasCronosAbaddon I believe someone forgot municipal waste
I can't understand how some people think Warbringer are overrated. I've seen them live 3 times now and each time their performance was increasingly better. If anything, they're underrated.

remind me kreator
Probably one of the best opening drum solos I have ever heard, up there with Misery Index's "Sleeping Giants." Excellent!
Frontman looks like Barney from Napalm Death but sounds like John Tardy from Obituary .
No offense lmaooooo
Went to see Arch Enemy yesterday, and these guys were supporting them. Never heard them before, but they BLEW ME AWAY! And my friend popped his knee in the pit, that's how awesome they were haha
