Spain is extremely hypocritical for wanting Gibraltar back while still having 2 cities on the coast of Morocco, including one that is literally across the Strait from Gibraltar!
We are not hypocrites, the UN says so, Gibraltar is a colony, Ceuta and Melilla are NOT. Because those cities did not belong to Morocco because it did not exist. Gibraltar was Spanish, you took advantage of a war to invade it, throw out the native population and repopulate it with English. You are fuc*** pirates.

Correction, in the Brexit referendum the 'overwhelming majority' voting to remain was 95%, not 75% as stated at 1:40.
Look at the bottom left corner of the video at that timestamp - it says in big red letters "95%*" :)
Macau? We are putting parts of china. I think you mean macaque.
So many irritating mistakes. "De fecto" also jumped out.
Im watching this after the 14-0 😀
Next time Spain brings up stealing Gibraltar ask them about returning Ceuta and Melilla to Morocco
¡Que Ceuta y Melilla nunca han sido parte de Marruecos!
Nonesense.
You'd better tell your goverment about respecting Utrecht treaty.
“Stealing” Gibraltar 💀
Totally agree. They seem to think they can have Gibraltar of us but wouldn't want Morocco to do the same to them.
What you lacked in this video is very important who are the people of gibaltra?
8726 peeps per square mile and 35% of them smoke cigarettes 😂 That sounds stinky!!! This was informative and fun to watch, thanks!
Population density units are "per square kilometer" not "per kilometer squared"
Means exactly the same.
@@gardengeek3041 The square kilometre is a measure of an area, which can be of any shape or size. Each square km of area is equivalent to the area of a square that is one km by one km.
Kilometre squared is NOT the same as square kilometre. Km square is not a proper metric for area, it’s a an indicative measure that can help visualize size, but is not a proper metric.
For example, a city that is 20km by 20km is said to be 20 kilometres square. However, its area is 400 square kilometres.
Godzilla x Kong brought me here
Recent census shows population is now over 40,000
Macau is a place. Macaque is the monkey. Pronounced Mack ack.
Macaw are a type of parrot
Nice!
Do you mean Barbary MACAQUES? I'm not sure what Macows/Macaus means.
Spain is extremely hypocritical for wanting Gibraltar back while still having 2 cities on the coast of Morocco, including one that is literally across the Strait from Gibraltar!
So says the ENGLISH?
@@blackfileNepal What? I'm American, lol.
@@MatthewTheWanderer You're as American as British. Go back to england, ya tea sipping bilbo baggins!
Exactly what I was thinking.
Gibraltar could be the 🆕 new
Montecarlo 😊
Gibraltar has a population thats mixed Spanish/British and have their own distinct culture and dialect. That should be protected
Good choice for some winter sun.
I love this...
Same
جبل طارق
Wie interessant
Gotta love Spain.
Spain: Give us back Gibraltar!
Morocco: Ummm, can we have Ceuta and Melilla back?
Spain: No they are ours, and it totally isn't the same thing as Gibraltar.
It literally isnt the same, Ceuta and Melilla always were spanish/portuguese enclaves without any treaties or documents saying otherwise. Gibraltar was temporarily given to the UK in signed treaties after the Spanish Succession War. According to the treaty signed, Gibraltar has to be returned to Spain. Your welcome!
It isn't the same
yes the issue is the same. Contiguous land masses are the reason why Morocco wants Ceuta and Spain wants Gibraltar. European land documents to do not dictate who owns land in Africa.
@@walkerahl Thats the point I made, Morroco wants cause its contiguous with their territory, not caring for any historical or further reasons. Spain claims Gibraltar because there's neither a legal nor any meaningful reason for the city to pertain to the UK. Drop the european arguments, this ain't a colony or French territory in Africa. Your welcome!
@@cirodelatorrerojo3643 I think the meaningful reason was its sucessful siege against spain and france against uk/portugal. Without it , it could be a chance gibraltar could be spanish one day but it will NEVER happen now. sorry lol it is our fault (french). After the siege, the territory earned its british identity until ... english people disappear from earth? If the spanish/french won the siege, gibraltar would be spanish today.
At 2:41 you said "Although as you'd expect, a lot of people also speak Spanish" but you showed Italian text, easy mistake to make but still kinda foolish.
love that place
lm bron in Gibraltar 🇬🇮
2:42 "... as you'd expect, a lot of people also speak Spanish..." - shot of a page of Italian text!
Is the bar life the same as the uk?
Pretty much. A lot of bars/pubs have a UK feel to them. I read something years ago about Gibraltar having more pubs per square mile than anywhere else in the world. Don't know if that's true but there's a fair few of them.
You did not adress the main point though: WHY does Gibraltar has a soccer team ?
I have seen enough documentaries to know that driving seems to be pretty much a free for all in one of the larger countries in orange.
