I have been listening to his music for 40 years, and his guitar playing has always been superb. What I find distinctive about his career is that, at 70, he has not stopped writing wonderful music. His recent albums are awesome, and I look forward to the next one.

Love Mark Knopfler for many years and his music has helped me through many tough times esp when my sister passed away in August 2020 amid pandemic. I’m glad I had the chance to see his great performance in Vancouver in 2019, thank you Mark.

@AgustinKnopfler Thank you so much for your continues work on Mark. Like many, I grew up during the 80s and learned to love The Straits and Mark when he went his way. I listen carefully to what Mark says during his interviews and have passed his genius onto others who are not at all familiar with this man whose full of passion and humility. He's tied with Clapton and Gilmour, for me, as being easily my favorite three Six Stringers. But the wisdom and honesty he shares openly..

Another year of listening to these wonderful concerts at least once a week. And I still haven't heard them all.
Thank you so much Mark and ALL the band plus everyone else involved. I don't know if my appreciation of it all is just improving with each listen but it does sound better each time. This one in particular has such a verve, it makes my exercise time go like a dream.

Danny Cummings superb. Better than James Taylor. Saw Knopfler show Wolf Trap, VA - blown away. He morphs between himself and Knopfler - couldn't tell who was who. Gorgeous voice. Excellent show I'll never forget. Good job, boys.

Para mi los que dio en España fueron los mas completos: la novedad impagable del Silvertown Blues, nunca tocada en directo al menos que yo sepa y, sobre todo, el Telegraph Road. Sultans of Swing en esta gira no tocaba (en 2013 tampoco la tocó). La curiosidad está al principio cuando parece ser que llama la atención a dos tipos que tiran de flash. Una pena que no siga tocando en directo aunque sea con giras mas reducidas como hace Clapton.
Espero que siga tocando en directo en locales pequeños. Las grandes giras son agotadoras.

i saw him at the Entertainment Centre in Sydney in the 80's. Awesome show. He put on a fair bit of weight since then. His gone a bit more country these days. Feels more like I'm at a barn dance. Yeehah !!!!! (Corned Beef City).

I called Apple as there was a problem with a delivery.. the obviously young woman who was in customer service says her name is Juliette. I than ask her if shes heard Romeo and Juliette by Mark Knopfler, she says no...I go on for a bit how songs like this are essential listening particularly in the realm of Rock. At the end of a cool phone call with Juliette at Apple I remind her to check out the tune, she says she already wrote it down, and i know from her excitement and honesty she did..

Концерт хороший, но понять музыку Кнопфлера, особенно поздние его работы, может только человек старше 50-60 лет. Для этой музыки нужно дорасти, прожить жизнь, пережить все эти моменты - успехи, неудачи и прочее.
Мне и в 30 понятно, сверстникам нет )

I like Mark’s music - his style is so recognisable - but this setlist is a tad disappointing. No Sultans! I also think he likes Done With Bonaparte more than his fans. I could quite happily live without hearing it again. Ever. Why couldn’t he have put in another from the Golden Heart album? Maybe Imelda? What a solo that has!
