    I get the tacticool video effects with the Amazon lights in the background and the pallet wood. But if you’re trying to make an assembly video that’s worth posting, light the table, get a white background and a bright shirt. B+ on keeping it interesting by speeding through, A for actually putting a video out, B- on music, B for a couple close ups, D- on explaining the parts, F on set production. Oh, A for being in English.

    Picked mine up last week, Just took it to the range brought 100, 1400 fps 2 3/4 inch target load with me to break it in, Took about 30 rounds to get them to cycle properly, After the 100 rounds i put 1200 fps load in to see if it would shoot and it did indeed shoot flawless after the first 30 rounds, Tried 3 different loads. Did have one malfunction it slam fired not sure exactly what caused it, Other then that great gun. Had a blast after the first 30 rounds.

    A few of these types were on sale this month, of them, i chose this model on the dissassembly. Less tools needed, one model had a piston -o- ring i didnt care for, not saying its a bad thing, but i work on cars for a living and i know how to break and lose small parts like o rings. If you work on fords this probably wont bother you. Looks like a lotta fun, cant wait till it comes in. Anybody know if this comes with chokes?

  • @briannone4738
    @briannone4738 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The choke is Benelli/Beretta style. No more constricted than full choke. M 1919 type magazines. Replace the flip up sights with a quality brand. The gas pistons depend on your loads. Over 1500 fps need the heavy piston according to the people I've talked to. The stock and lower are 1 piece molded. I'd like to see a different front grip with key mod or rail options. And a way to install an adjustable stock. Overall a good weapon. It takes a break in period of getting used to what piston to use with what ammo. Learn your weapon..Learn your ammo..Know your use

      I edited my original post. It's a M 1919 magazine. My typo error sorry folks. Most gun sights have 10 round mags. 20 round mags too. And FYI the original 5 round mags you can slide them bottom up on the short rail on the front grip. It is really as simple to tear down as the video. Enjoy your toys boys

    Just picked it up and went to do a field strip for the first time to clean out the barrel and make sure everything is lubed up and the barrel Nutt won't come off. Stripped 3 noches from using the supplied wrench. Then used vice grips and a malet with no luck. Applied light heat to it and went back at it with the vise grips and malet still nothing. Yes I was going counter clockwise and the wrench was in the correct orientation. Haven't shot it yet but I can say that the manufacturer over tightened the barrel nutt. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? Very frustrating!

    have 2 questions, planning on storing mkx3 in a safe built into the back of an SUV. It will be in close proximity to a 12'" Alpine sub in a ported box that hits almost just as hard. Should I be worried about vibration affecting said firearm? Secondly, does the mkx3 cycle more easily (with less chance of a jam) when loaded with "high" brass?

    • @GforceArms
      @GforceArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Not sure about the vibration of the sub, but it should be fine. Heck, if it can handle 12GA power, it can handle a sub. Also, works much better with high brass shells (velocity over 1300 FPS) for reliable cycling.

    What would you reccomend using the heavy load piston for?

    • @GforceArms
      @GforceArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are many opinions on what a “heavy” load is. Some define it as the weight/size of the ball inside…6 and above being standard load and below 6 being HEAVY load. Others consider it a defining line between 2 ¾ inch as STANDARD load and 3 inch as HEAVY load.
      Finally, another opinion is that of the amount of powder charge. If you follow one of these, you’re probably ok.
