  • We do a product review on a battery operated pressure washer by Greenworks. It doesn't require a city water system or 110v power. Greenworks Pro 60v pressure washer.

    This is another restoration video of our historic house. We saw this historic house for sale that had wonderful stone masonry and was mostly a brick house. The Romanesque architecture was amazing for this cheap house. With the slate roof and the masonry repair we had to do it was a great renovating house. We have to cope with termites damage and termite repair. The stained glass and fireplace mantels were amazing. If you are looking for abandoned historic homes or abandoned places look no further. We don't have any scary stories but a virtual house tour of the Mooreland House aka Mooreland Mansion aka Harrodsburg Castle aka Ashfeld Manor is a great place to follow.
    Our DIY historic preservation videos are not necessarily how to videos. We get a lot of inspiration from some of our favorite channels like Wild Wonderful Off Grid, Pure Living for Life, Onboard Lifestyles, Mike Haduck Masonry and many more. We love our little castle on the hill.

    The washer worked wonders with the stone and I could already see in Frank's eyes how he was cleaning the balcony and the columns. A good purchase, it will make cleaning easier, only the water supply would be useful, but also from the container it did an excellent job.

There are still so many questions to be answered specially how well foam cannons work with this pressure washer and how long batteries last specially for people who would use to wash their cars etc. Thanks and I hope you do.

    I have the 40v version, and something I would like to point out is that these units perform at their peak psi with a garden hose attached. The pressure of a garden hose is just more beneficial to the overall psi output than a gravity fed bucket. But if you don't have a hose available, this is a great alternative. I thought about upgrading to the 60v version. It's on sale right now for $149.99. My 40v version is only 900-1100 psi. (The same models have different psi readings in different countries...?) My guess is that in the UK, the pressure is benchmarked with a hose and in the US it's benchmarked with the bucket. But I'm just guessing. Also, the 40v works very well with the turbo nozzle for anyone that's wondering. So this 60v one should also work just fine with it as well.

    I have the 40v and have been using it for 18 months to wash my car and that of friends and relatives. The batteries are stupidly expensive with an 8 minute running time for the 2.0ah. I have 4 individual batteries just in case. I customized the pressure washer with a custom short handle gun and a separate snow foam lance, but recently swapped the latter for a IK foam pro 12 to reduce battery consumption. It works well for my needs and having seen TH-cam reviews of the Ryobi and Worx cordless pressure washers, I'm definitely sticking with Greenworks for the foreseeable future.

    Any idea how long this runs with 2 batteries? I have a 60v mower with the 2 batteries. This would be a nice addition. I just bought a Kolbalt 40v which is 600 psi on clearance for 20 dollars. Should have grabbed more. It only lasts about 20 mins. It's a nice little unit to wash the car or wheels. Even takes the green mold off the siding and shed.

      @moorelandhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @POVDrivingTour

      I have 4 separate 2.0ah 40v Greenworks batteries that lasts for 8 minutes each. However, the 20 litre bucket filled with water only lasts 4 minutes with non-stop use. In the 18 months I've been using it, I need four 25 litre water containers filled to the max, although if I miss out the contact wash when I'm using Bilt Hamber Touchless, I only use 2/3 water containers, approx 60-75 litres. I'm trying to reduce water consumption even with the contact wash, and that's why the Greenworks cordless pressure washer is very convenient when it comes to saving water and using what you really need. My neighbours always look at me confused when I'm filling the Greenworks bucket from the 25 litre water container but I need to do this to practice for when I'm washing my car away from my home. It would be really embarrassing if I started a mobile car wash business and I ran out of water halfway. 100 litres of water per car is satisfactory, but if you don't do contact wash, then this can be reduced to 50 litres (2 water containers).
