Amazing set list. Thanks!
Hey Nathan, THANK YOU - mille grazie!
Saviour Machine is a David Bowie cover.
Dale Crover is and will always be one of my favorite drum players
"Space" is a good metaphor. Sometimes the tension a drummer creates between two beats can be more powerful than the beat itself.
yea same. He just compliments the riffs so well, like he really is tightly connected to buzz. Also a hard hitter with groove. Kind of like Bonham
The best. (the beast) Dale Crover.
Best band ever.
The greatest band in the history of music.
saw one week later at cat's cradle (8/9) in chapel hill. they NEVER cease to amaze.
No one can handle The Bit. Litterally the heaviest and darkest song ever written, gives me goosebumps every time.
AWESOME!!!
Thanks for the upload!
I tried getting footage with my phone, but the audio came out shitty.
YOU GOT THE WHOLE SHOW!!
--- Thanks again, man!!
I love how they play Miles Davis before the show begins. Wonder how many people catch that.
Gabriel Ricks probly alot hes a legend
did catch it first second...lol.....and its on the corner...or maybe live evil...lol...buzz loves miles record on the corner...´check out whats in my bag wirh the melvins...mens of good taste...
Killer cover of Bowie's "Saviour Machine"!!!!!
Do you want to feel my power?
I really tried to like the Melvins. Just cant do it!
I was there. My 25th time seeing the Melvins. Great fuckin' show.
Eric Edward always great live
Then you should know...it's Melvins, not The Melvins.
This is one of the best live movies I've ever seen ... respect and thank you!
melvins rule!
It's proof , it doesn't matter what your guitar looks like , it's how you play it that counts . Great bassist I prefer Cody their last bassist . I think it's Cody , I'm almost sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong lol 🙂 massive melvins fan don't care what their lineup is . Buzz and Dale have been doing it long enough not to get shit musicians in 😎😀
Coady Willis was the second drummer. Jared Warren was the bass player. The two of them form the band Big Business, amazing band too. I was stage hand for them in a little venue in France, Jared is a really cool guy !
Nice. Looks and sounds amazing.
Jesus Christ...Dale Crover does make a band sound DIFFERENT!
Awesome recording! I always appreciate it when people film. I recorded the Athens, GA show back in 2007 and it took me out of the show. It's nice still having the show to watch anytime I want though!
Anyone going from Northborought to Boston to the Melvins show at the Paradise this October 8 who'd like to share the UberX fare?
Damn! Death in the family and missed them in SLC on Aug. 17... Thanks for posting this tho, next best thing to being there. Great set-list, btw. Some of my faves.
They ALWAYS sound good and fun live. Quality musicians right here.
I am dissapointed with the lack of drunk headbanging people.
Saw them play the same set at 3rd and lindsley's in nashville, they were incredible. Anyone watching this that has never seen them, do yourself a favor and go see them even if you have to travel, they will not disappoint.
They are not playing anymore with Pinkus?
When you have the best drummer since John bonham it’s hard to suck
Wow, Buzz tone sounds not so distortioned or less heavy, an I like it
what happened to the second drummer?
The two guys from Big Business peeled back off again. They are still their own band. Look them up they are great.
thanks man, just started checking out Big Business, already in love, will be going out and buying some albums, not sure how they flew under my radar, good stuff.
loved the end part lol
Was there. Awesome show, awesome set
What's with System of a Down's thumbnail?
stop playing the bit
HARRY CLOUD 666 why?
