For all who were wondering, I am pretty sure that this is baby Moana. Her momma sent her to a sanctuary where she could be a baboon. If I remember correctly, they didn’t buy her to keep as a pet,they bought her to save her from where she was at. Please don’t judge...they did what was so hard for them to do. But they were responsible for her life and knew this was the better choice ,other than her being with them and being too much for them to control. Great respect for baby Moanas human parents for caring enough to save her.

I don't think any living thing were ever supposed to wear clothes. Why is this so much worse than the domestication of canines? Logically primates would be more comfortable domesticated than dogs would. At least primates live on a little more similar terms with us than canines. Dogs are carnivores 100%... We restrain them so they cannot hunt, give them grain which their digestive systems were not made to digest with a pathetic protein content. All the while they are naturally above us on the food chain. We fucking torture dogs, this monkey looks pretty content if you ask me. Who is to say it's not an orphan that wouldn't have made it in the wild, and who's to say this owner is prepared for her pet to be an adult and will not dispose of him. I don't see screeching nervous behavior, I don't see harsh teasing or training from the owner. Just two happy creatures really.
Sanctuary! Please do the right thing. The sooner you bring it to a primate rescue group, the better life will be for him. He may be able to integrate with other rescued baboons and live a semi-wild life.

As I said the very same videos. I notice that the 'owners' of Moana have removed their videos of her from TH-cam sometime in the last few months. If she is still living she would now be at least 3-4 years old. And I suspect she has either been confiscated or surrendered. Dubai made the ownership of exotic pets illegal about 2 years ago and have confiscated many animals and imposed fines. Articles can be found in the Gulf newspapers.
Um, I also need to add...wild animals are not dogs or cats. This baboon will become wild and possibly...probably.. viscous. I do not think it fair to the animals to be raised as human baby substitutes. There, I said it. That said, I think you mean well, but are misinformed.
