I can’t believe the negative comments. The result was beautiful. I was hoping to learn how to do this exact wave because my daughter has exactly her hair.
I thought it looked nice, but seemed to require an awful lot of time for what was achieved.
There are too much professional hairdressers posting videos. Holding to blowdryer on one place is a no go. Pull a section of hair out in an angle downwards doesn't give the huge effect the other angles do.
I have this really curly hair as well as high porosity...that if I just wash my hair and leave it out to dry it would form the curls effortlessly.... And if I ever straightened it, whether with a blow dryer or a flat iron, it would get really FRIZZY, But by using this method it was amazing!!!! Even tho I'm not that expert on blow drying my hair, but it just worked flawlessly

Rachel Galloway the only way I can see why the hair isn't getting stuck is because the barrel brush is a boar bristle brush not a regular brush with thick plastic bristles, making it easier to go through hair

It’s a Blowout not a curling iron. OBVIOUSLY not getting the same results as a curling iron
That is the point.. its a blowout and even tho it straightens out quick that blowy volume look that you cannot get with any curling or straightening iron , lasts for days😍

Don't fret. I've been a hairdresser for 10 years and I still get my hair caught in the round brush sometimes. And when I'm blow drying with a round brush or braiding my hair, I have to take breaks because my arms get tired...lol!
Thanks! Your advice even helped me with braiding, I've been trying to do the french braid, but my arms would get tired and I would mess it up. :D
+Hopelessly Addicted I definitely get tired when French braiding on myself too!! It's funny, I'll finish putting hair into one of the three strands, hold them with the one hand, and let the other hand drop so it can rest lol!

I’m late but as a hairdresser I would recommend that anyone who tries this does not part the hair all the way down to the base of the neck as the curls will have a part in them. So you should part no further back than the top of the head and start from the middle and work ur way out around the head.

Great but from a hairdresser point of view, not enough heat protectant at all. He's right about using only small product but not with heat protectant lol, he also didnt bother hairspraying the back only a tiny bit on the front so this blowdry wouldnt even last 1 day on a client. For a bouncy blowdry this is great result though, not to be confused with a CURLY blowdry which would be much tighter.

Her hair is too heavy for that kind of curls. He had to apply volume mousse on wet hair and then blow dry it on small hair . He should dry the roots better.
