But PCR 0.48 Is Concerning...Anytime There Can Be A Short Covering...I Think Tomorrow Market Will Be Mute Or Too Narrow To Trade And They Will Eat Decay Whole Day... 0.48 PCR Can Bring Reversal Any Time
So Abid, client is a ghost ship with massive ammunition to be blasted tomorrow or day after but before expiry. The story turns tomorrow or the day after they'll pump the market upward till 24586+ to takeout the last juice out of option sellers before the market falls below 23850.. To note most buyers/retailers are already out of market because of lesser expires and we see very low volume in most indices. Big play on the plate.. Be cautious while taking straddle or strangle as capital can be wiped out considering extra premium on expiry day.. naked positions might be better and square off all positions a day before expiry leaving last bit to gamblers dog fight on expiry day and watch just tamasha😂😂
Hi here’s a dumb question: I buy a nifty call option when I feel nifty will move up from its spot price. So when I sell a call option, what am I doing there: I’m thinking niftys price will move up or down from its spot.? I don’t get the principle or logic behind selling an option, if someone could explain peacefully 🌷🙏🏾
Common misconception is that market moves only up or down. For most of the time it just moves sideways also. So when you sell a call you are essentially saying that the call option at that strike will expire worthless and the premium you have sold at will become 0 theoretically you have a 2/3 probably that you will be right (depending on your strike selection) Look up the concept of theta in options.
@ so I would buy a nifty call option if I think nifty would go up from spot and I would buy a nifty putt option if I think nifty would go down from spot. But when I sell a call or put option, I am thinking this will go to zero.? Really need to see some videos to clear this concept of selling of option, I’m clueless here as to how does one profit from selling options
@@sha.shankz simple words (basics for just understanding)- There are 3 direction of market up, down and sideways. When one is selling call option he is saying market will either go down or side way. Vice versa for put option selling. How one get profit from selling option :- In trending market ... Profit is generates by directional option selling In non trending/ sideways market ... Profit is generated by theta decay. Most important point to note while calculating profits as it is limited in option selling. The profit is always calculated by percentage of capital deployed.
