Adam, thanks for sharing your install video! ONLY thing I'd change (I know, I know...SOMEONE's gotta nitpick, LOL) is the wire on the inner portion of the magnesium frame of the inner fender well 6:57. I'd figure out a way to route it so it's routed between the magnesium and the steel, so the tire has no chance of kicking up debris and possibly damaging the wire.
And, if the wire's too short, just solder on some more wire to extend it further. Use some marine heat-shrink (Harbor Freight sells it) for a water-tight seal and peace of mind.
I couldn't do that because it wasn't long enough. AS for wiring, that'll be a job for someone else. I truly cannot do wiring myself. Everything eventually fails. The reason why the Billie Brake light wiring from the can-opener looked so weird is because I broke all of the positive wire just trying to splice everything together so I had almost no slack left so now I need to ask for a new CAnOpener as well as a longer wire coming out of the billie.
why, if the top case is equipped in own braking light?
Are you curious why this accessory is needed? The answer would be the strobe and intensity of the Clearwater light is much higher than the stock brake lights.
