They look GREAT! Now YOU can be the “trail safety rider” in our lineup to insure we don’t go un-noticed in traffic!

True -- and you can see how bright the lights are!

Chris, when I installed the Denali B6 tail light on mine, I ended up running the wiring up behind the license plate and straight up to the under-side of that protruding reflector and drilled through. The plastic is very thick there. Once through, the wiring goes right through to the area where you tapped in. I got a rubber grommet from Ace Hardware that was designed for the thicker plastic. With the grommet in place, it is completely waterproof, looks OEM, and is pretty much out of sight. I hate drilling any holes, but due to the location, I felt it was the best solution, and could put a plug in if the B6 were ever removed.

That is a better way of doing than my approach, since your wires are more secure than my tape.

@@kiki231000 Not sure if you belong to bmwlt.com, but you can see a photo of the wire going through with the grommet in a photo I took of mine. I actually got the idea from another member. See photo attached to the last post in this thread. www.bmwlt.com/forums/rt-series/184495-tail-light-wire-routing-2014-rt.html

Hey Chris, I have the same system with the decelerometer, with the top case installed it's now a attention grabbing brake-light and also works as a tail-light. Looks awesome.

I have been riding with the P3 taillights on my Honda since I bought it in 2012. They are the run brake turn combo, but I never hooked up any of them for turn signals, just run and brake so far on the P3s. I have an old video on my channel about them. I also got some of the photon blasters for the front. I have white and yellow in the front, and 4 red in the back. I just got a new bike, so I have transferred them from my Honda to the new one. I like the conspicuity flicker and any time I'm ever on the motorcycle forums and additional or aftermarket lighting comes up, I always always mention Skene's lights. I don't know as I have seen any others with them, but they are a very good tool to help others see you any time. Especially with all the distractions possible while driving in this digital technological age. And especially in daylight riding. I see there is a new design for the lights now. Mine are still working great and still super bright of the older design like the ones you are using. I'm sure they have helped me be more visible everywhere I go. I don't have the decel package, but I have the photons with the alert system. Tap the brakes in any combo within one second of each other, and it will emit a flashing pattern on the front mounted lights. I wish I had room for more! Thanks for sharing, nice to see others with these lights, too!

Did exactly the same as you Chris with an Admore lighting kit - opened the wrong wiring loom (think I may have been using some Skene instructions). After an hour of head scratching wondering why I could not find the right colour wires realised it was the wrong loom..... You not tempted to use something like an Hex ezcan or Fuzeblock FZ1 for power supply? What next for your bike? Front and back dashcam?

Funny you should mention that. I DID consider using the brake trigger wire that is sitting empty from my CANopener (for the Clearwater lights i have up front) , but since i still needed trigger wires for the signal lights, it was no savings in time. I don't have any plans at the moment, however I have been toying with rear crash bars....

In your description of the colored wires, you note for example, "blue with red stripe is left". Except on my 2021 F750GS, there are two wires coming back from each turn signal. One red, one black. So which one do you connect to, or connect to both?

The wire scheme I used was for a 1200RTW. I am sorry I don’t know the plan for your specific model

Been thinking of those, after seeing your video, may entertain them. Would like to know your opinion on installing auxiliary lighting at the front of the bike, just below the mirrors. Saw them on Twisted Throttle web site. Possible installing the amber optic type on my K1600GTL.( already have auxiliary mounted by BMW on the front lower section of the bike.

IN my opinion, more lights can never hurt. That being said, I have heard, secodn hand, that the "light triangle" of one light high and 2 low does a better job of grabbing drivers attention than more lights high on the front. If that is true, perhaps having the high lights only come on at night or by choice, would take care of that issue. I have had VERY good luck with Twisted Throttle over the years, and make a point of stopping in whenever I am in Connecticut.
