It's also based on la zona del tequila, similar to cognac and champagne. It needs to be agave Azul and from la zona del tequila to be called tequila. Anything else is mezcal - including agave Azul mezcal.

believe it or not, most of Mexico is light-skinned. theres entire states in Mexico where the majority of population is light skin, light hair, colored eyes

You forget the Spaniards conquered Mexico? Also look up the Saint Patrick’s Batallion. There are many shades in Mexico. Blonde hair blue eyes, red hair green eyes, to as indigenous as you could picture.
