I found my opera lamps off a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 98 regency and I took the whole wiring and I had it converted it to 12 volt leds and I frosted it to make it look original

I just bought some L.E.D strips from Home Depot and replaced mine on my '95 Buick Road Master. But i think i'll go back with the EL tape for my '84 Buick Park Ave.
Gotcha! Yeah I didn’t want the LEDS cuz I this want the broken up light look. Doesn’t look bad, just not what I was after.

That's nice I can't find a white flat light for my opera set up on my Buick
virgil brock Here’s a link. Same one I got but in white. You can also get sheets. The way I did it might not be ideal, but it works and no one would ever know.

I got a 1986 Pontiac Parisienne as well do you know what bulb is in the opera light
They used Electroluminescent tape aka El Tape with an inverter.

I believe those are the same style of lights that where in the 73-79 Cutlass on the sail panel.
