Did u miss the lounge? PG provides free-entranced boutique lounge for all economy class passengers both domestic and international flights and blue ribbon lounge for business class passengers. Basically the service and facility in boutique lounge for economy class passengers is like other airlines business class lounge, which allow u to get some food and drinks, to use computer or even rest for a bit thus the blue ribbon lounge is like other airlines first class lounge!

    Very nice trip report!
You didn't know about the airline's service? That would me my reason for booking a flight there.
Was there any lounge in Phuket? They do run a small one in BKK even for Y pax

Bangkok Airways is the premier airline for travel in Thailand, unfortunately they have limited destinations. I am a great fan of BA and know the family that own it so BA is my choice whenever possible. All flights serve food and service is excellent. No additional charge for baggage. Of course the cost is a bit higher than Nok Air or AirAsia but well worth the difference.

yes Bangkok Airways is a very premium airline in Thailand. I like it even more than Thai service wise (of course you can't beat the offer of a 747 flight between BKK-HKT :D)
