There are 2 meanings of Liberal. Liberal socially and liberal economically. The former is more left than right. The latter is more right than left. Braverman's not liberal socially and doesn't think the Tories were liberal enough economically. She's basically a fascist. She's in a corner now and can only snipe from the sidelines. She wants to be a leader but I don't think the Tories would accept her in that role and Farage would not let her be a leader in Reform in place of him. Two too massive egos.

She is far right in the Tory Party and does seem highly nationalist, including racist. I fear what she would do as leader if she ever got into power.
Their neo liberal financial vandalism is the danger not this distraction tactic. Please take the oxygen of publicity away from this and focus on what real threats exist.
Except THIS is the rhetoric voters will listen to her about so we have to be aware of it, discuss it, and learn to more effectively counter the misinformation because the Reform results show we are not managing that yet.

I get you, absolutely, and there is far too much quotemining, misquoting and rephrasing in political discourse. But without the speech marks it would look like Novaro were saying that. And if a clearer sentence was given, e.g. "Suella Braverman seems to be suggesting that too many tories were pro-LGBT." then it would be too many words for a headline. "LGBT" is an artificial construction anyway - if one means gay one should say gay; if one means bi one should say bi and if one means trans one should say trans; why must they all be lumped together into this mismatched coalition and spoken about as if they were one entity? It seems like a deliberate sabotage of communication to me. And in that regard I don't think she would even use the term because it doesn't serve her purposes as a category for discussion.
