"Shooting Star" is 10/10. You fellas are going to love their b-side "Left Right" its an old skool early 2000s/late 90s R&B jam. XG is the flyest female crew on the planet. You're right they are not kpop, on an interview by apple music they label themselves as a hiphop and R&B global girl group, just like Destiny's Child,Spice Girls, they also mentioned that their inspiration artists are TLC,LaurenHill,Aalyiah and many more, even though they're from japan and based in Korea they sing in English for the reason that its a global language and they wanna reach every corner of the world with their music. XG is the next big group even though they just started a year ago they have focused on their music, kpop groups now days are worried about becoming brand ambassadors, they focus on that more than making music nothing wrong but there's a saying that you can't serve 2 masters at the same time . Its either one thing or the other new generation kpop groups dont know how to balance that yet. XG is doing great music they became the first japanese girl group to debut on the mediabase top 40 radio plays with their Left right song, which you will love even more, highly recommended. XG is aiming to be the best global group period, they are young,talented and hungry for success and they are most humble as can be their best quality of all.
