I went with 20 lbs because I can always take one plate out and have 10lbs if I want it. 40lbs would be too much for plyometrics and running so I didn't want to go with that.
Personally I prefer the 5.11 with 10kg plates. It’s like it’s part of you when fitted correctly and so comfortable. It teaches you to breathe differently too and pace your runs.
After having the vest for 7 months, how did the medium size work for you? Any other pros/cons to add?? I have been going back and fourth between this vest and the 5.11. Great video!
I'd recommend you fit that vest properly. Maybe you've figured that out, but the way you showed it, is not doing you any favors. top of plate should align with sternal notch. It would be good to include the measurements of the plate bag. I'm right at 34" so not sure if I should get the small or how long the straps are on the medium.

Medium. Which was surprising since I'm a large T shirt. I went with their recommendation though and it fits good.

Definitely not after each use. Maybe every few uses. Not sure how long it will last but it seems very well built.
