Treasure Island Fire Rescue 9/11 Memorial Walk 2024

Today, Treasure Island Fire Rescue honored the memory of the first responders who sacrificed so much on Sept. 11, 2001. Several members of TIFR, along with a few city employees, participated in a 3.43-mile 9/11 Memorial Walk along Gulf Blvd. The number 343 represents the firefighters who lost their lives that day. During the walk, they carried an American Flag with the names of those 343 firefighters with a message to never forget.
