What kind of memory footprint does BD have? From the looks of it, appears you need at least 8gb of memory with all the scanning and background programs it's running. Not for me. I'm good with Avast Free. If I get hit with a virus or malware, I have everything backed up and will reinstall Windows.

You had it on Autopilot mode which pretty much blocks viruses and so on automatically without asking you. I use Bitdefender Total Security just because I got it for free.
I disagree on the part with registry cleaning, I keep my registry clean with CCleaner, never had some bad stuff happen if something get deleted what is really used or needed the program what used the key will just recreate the registry key on the launch of the App, so it's pretty save to let the cleaner kill some stuff so u have always a clean registry and it's proven by many windows professionals that programs that still keep files in the registry on uninstall make the Pc slow after years of crap have still to be parsed on windows start-up

See, here's the funny thing; I can pirate Sandboxie right now, and it'll probably come with onhax's activation patch so i can then run ANY browser I want in a sandbox. I can use most other basic Windows utilities for the same things that BTS wants to do, and I can use their free antivirus, even on Windows 10 (though they seem to be depreciating it since they're purposefully break in win10 on occasion). *OR* I can take the completely free and legal route, get a copy of Linux Mint (because Ubuntu tries to make you feel like shit for not donating to Canonical so _fuck them_), install Linux Mint on a more capacious USB stick or connected external drive, install Google Chrome for Flash (and maybe Java) sandboxing, install Firejail for system sandboxing (not like sandboxie but it protects root-accessible files), then run firejail google-chrome to have all those benefits, while being in Linux, which really if you have a modern computer you should be able to use any OS you choose, and aside from hardware-specific issues, run without a hitch as a super-secure sandbox environment.
