Lipscrubs are actually bad for dry and cracked lips because it’ll just dry them out more, you need moisture more than exfoliant. I will say though tho lip scrubs can help remove other lasting dead skin in the lip surface resulting in a soft finish. (No straight uo hate or boycott im just stating seeing as my mother does jobs related to skin issues.)

What do you mean "if it just so happens to slip in your mouth, you're good"?? Are there lip products that aren't safe to lick off of your lips?? I know they have found bonkers ingredients in those, like plumber's pipe putty which definitely should not be licked lmao. Or is this about the distinction between edible and non-toxic?
