Now remember these are 6 cylinders with not a whole lot of exhaust in the rear section to work with especially after turbos and intercooler and piping and tubing and all that take up a lot of that room. It is the Carrara GT that is able to really show off it's sound but with those extra 4 cylinders of course but as far as what Porsche is capable of that is their best work. I want to see a newer 944 and 944 turbo from Porsche though. Front engine with a rear mounted trans and diff and perfect weight distribution and 500 horses and an optional 6 speed or an auto trans available. unlike the 911 which the best ones I have heard have ceramic ball bearing turbos, titanium exhaust, blow off valves, and even then it is more of a turbo whistle with a slight exhaust sound that is very subtle. They do sound good though and very mean. Those 9ff guys are a perfect example of how they sound and it isn't the greatest imo. But I could show you an aftermarket build that sounds good, the typical 911 sounds kind of like a diesel and isn't the greatest for noise especially out of the box. The look of these is what gets people and the drive is what keeps people.
The 9ff sounds like a diesel starting up with crackles...brap brap brap.

I am trying to find video evidence of the 991.2 9ff Turbo S existing and this is the closest I have come so far. I have seen a 9ff 911 Turbo S on the Autobahn but I never found anything about the car ever again.
