Hey Nico, I was having audio problems during the live, but my question is, what if your own channel is the one that triggers the red grades or the F’s. What do we do in that situation?
Great question Mike! The grading system is now more advanced than you were used to and thus is not strictly influenced by the Gateway video anymore. This means that even if one of your own videos is the Gateway video and the grades are bad because this particular video is one of the more successful videos on your channel then this likely still means that it will be difficult to get another of your videos ranking for this search term. However, if you believe that you can publish another banger like the Gateway video then give it a try! :)

Great question Chung! It is indeed possible to jumpstart the growth of a channel by paying for ad placements. However, for that to really work, your videos have to be good enough to already work well for a large audience and in addition you really need to know how to target your ads for the right viewers. All these requirements are usually only done right by veterans in the field. So my recommendation is that you don’t waste your money. The organic growth strategies like SEO can work well. Hello, I have a beginner youtube channel named purgeanxiety. It is about nature vidoes. I don't have many subscribers yet. However some of my videos are showing lot of ads even though I have checked to disable ads. I think this is ruining experience for the viewers. Can you help me or make a video about how to stop these.
I am sorry to hear that! Well, for a channel that is not monetized yet, I don’t think you can decide whether to show or not show ads. TH-cam decides that for you. Only if you get monetized, you are able to turn ads completely off. But don’t worry about it too much. Not all viewers see the ads and viewers are generally accustomed to a lot of ads on TH-cam. So I bet you can grow your channel despite that. Keep it up! :)
