I just got my brand approved today, little trick to tell you is, i went to office depot and ordered a pre-ink stamp, with your brand name, they can get it done for you the same day, then stamp on a few boxes, the place the boxes and the products side by side, take several pictures ( your hand can be in the pictures) send to them and get approved. Holy smokes! Just learned that brand approval and brand registry are 2 separate applications. I recently applied for brand registry, and Camron is right, they asked for ridiculous documents and proofs. Heading back to Amazon for "brand approval" application now. @@Gurbanwear for brand approval they don't ask too much but yes if they want they could ask for documents and invoices. I honestly didn't have that much trouble with brand approval. Brand Registry is totally different ball game and yes you need lot of documentation and proofs.

My brand name is already in catalogue. My brand name isn’t in catalogue. Over and over for weeks. Then I ask for phone call to help, each time they hang up on me although I’m patiently explaining my problems. All of its in India and they are confused, uninterested and like robots

Doesn't sound like you are a legitimate business perhaps - just selling something under a name but not really a registered business with the state and a matching EIN issued by the IRS for your business - Right?

Hey guys first time here, I wanted to get brand approval by Amazon then they said the following images of the product and/or packaging are not real-world (ex. images are computer generated, marketing quality, or digitally altered) they are not altered I showed them the product packaging these products to be generic because other Brand strings have provided the same product and or packaging images. The branding or other identifying mark that appears on the product or its packaging must be distinguishable from similar products that do not belong to that brand.

Show different angles of your product I did 3 pictures with angles. Then take a screen shot of the email they sent you where it says the 5665 error and make sure the date is on the email. When they don’t approve you they send you this list down below ⬇️ , so start again not another listing but make an inquiry like you did before to get brand approval but add the steps below and take different angles of your product packaging - The brand name used while creating the listing. - Images of the product and packaging, which shows branding on either. The images can show the product and packaging when either held in hand, or placed on a table. The branding must be permanently affixed. - The latest screenshot of the error code 5665 with the registered brand name and time stamp visible in the background.

Great information but if you put a name on a product without filing or having the trademark name as filed or processing it would be useless right? You could be using a name that is already trademarked. The trademarking process is 10-18 months. This is the confusing part.

I think they are asking for proof that the brand exists and you are using it on your products. They do the same when you want to trademark your brand. You have to prove that it is an actual brand and live. Then do whatever packaging you want to use.

After you are approved for that listing for your brand are you going to have to do the apply again to list other products from your brand? Hello James, I watched all of your videos few times regarding Brand Approval and GTIN Exemption. I have got my products from China. It's a hair clip and I had to put Brand label using transparent sticker. That is different than Brand Approval. IP Accelerator is what you use to get a trademark on your brand if you want to use the Brand Registry.

I have an existing listing that's almost 8 years old, but I've never pursued Brand Approval for my company name. I followed your video and found the "Brand Approval Required" popup and applied to sell. It appears my Company Name is available for Brand Name approval (or at least it said "You have entered a brand name that has not been approved by Amazon..."
So, since I have an existing listing with my company name ....is there anything I need to be careful about in the Brand Approval Application?

Hello James, I watched all of your videos few times regarding Brand Approval and GTIN Exemption. I have got my products from China. It's a hair clip and I had to put Brand label using transparent sticker. Amazon kept saying "do not see sufficient proof that the branding is permanently affixed to the product or packaging, per the Brand Name Policy". Any suggestion how to overcome this. Please help and advice.
