As a healthcare worker, I feel so happy to know that you are like one of us. I find it hard as a healthcare worker to do creative stuff outside working hours. I love this video, I thought it was nice seeing a little more of Maddy outside of cooking and recipes. I’ve always enjoyed your content because it felt so real, comforting, like a cozy little corner in a quiet cafe. Finding out you’re a dentist by day and cafe maddy by night is really cool. I love this. I love how you are so comfortable being alone. I moved away from my family a year ago and I still haven’t made any kind of relationship with anyone because I’m so introverted. I just work and come home. Most days I feel lonely and homesick. But working and going to the gym keeps my mind off things.

Thanks for the look into your day job, it's fun to feel like we get to know a different side of you. I don't at all want to diminish the accomplishment or importance of your profession as a dentist, but I will say that before I knew anything about your profession, I just knew you as maybe the kindest person on the internet! Whatever sense of fulfillment, or lack thereof, you get from what you do, it won't change who you are: a champion for AAPI women, elderly and LGBTQ, an ambassador for Korean food and culture, a thoughtful creator... and the best voice on social media!

I appreciate so much the environment you film in. It’s your home, unfiltered. That comforts me because one thing keeping me from filming food content is that my kitchen is small and often crowded with things 😣 but maybe looks don’t matter :)
I’m also an introvert and relate a lot! The way you “unwind” is how I do it every night. I live with my boyfriend and I like that, but when I’m alone I appreciate those moments so much!
