For some dirty dishes 🙄...mil acting like the house is a mess because of just some dirty dishes. I like to spend quality time with my kids, not clean 12 hrs a day just to keep someone like her happy. Right now I'm washing bed covers, folding clothes while watching TH-cam, and guess what, I haven't had time to get to the dirty dishes, but they will be done by the end of the day. And no, I'm not a slob, but with little kids how realistic is it to always have your house pristine and never have not one dirty dish?
I have to add, even if the daughter in law is a SLOB, guess what??, the son picked her out of all the women in the world!! Let him be happy with his slob wife. He would help clean if he really cared that much about having a clean house!! My husband is terrible at keeping the yard clean. So I go out and clean it when I have some free time and have the kids help. My mom made a comment once about the yard and I shut her down quickly! Because none of her business unless she's volunteering to help clean the yard. If this mother in law cares so much about the dirty dishes she should wash them daily since she's at her son's house regularly anyways.
