I made a strand of lotus thread today and was wondering if it was a thing. A little bit of Googling and I found this video. I was surprised at how strong the thread felt for how thin it was. It felt like it could have been spider silk. I definitely want to try her technique of pulling fibers from three stems at a time instead of just one like I was trying.

실크의 한종류가 아님 (연꽃실크=식물성 / 실크=동물성) 실크같이 고급이라는 의미로 실크라는 이름을 붙인 것 같은데???
생산이 어렵지 않다면 그냥 삼베와 다를것 없을것 같음
