@@strwberrypancake8863 that is such an objectively wrong view. tournament play is about the character yes. but look at a game like SSBU, olimar is a character that i'd say is high C tier. Yet he's had 3 tournament wins. so clearly its more about the player
Dang Sako and valmaster are top notch chun li players, so technical to play her, yet they make it seem so easy
Sako might be the only one maximizing his drive. If he burns out he's going for the kill and its always some grimy optimal drive for kill combo. Almost everyone else I see just be doing burn out combos and still lose
Chun has some of the best combos and they're so expressive. not the same bnb over and over again> really like this about sf6

That’s why I decided to main Chun. I tried a few characters and felt like I was having fun but that there were really only a few “optimal” combo paths which got kinda boring. With Chun it feels like you really can get creative with it.
Im so glad Sako is back. I missed him in SFV. Watching him play is just like watching a combo video, this man is the definition of optimized

He doesn’t lvl 3 at that stage. The remaining one bar is accumulated through that combo sequence

This is some of the filthiest sf6 gameplay I’ve seen so far. I don’t know if people know this but the timing is SO tight for some of these combos and mixups and he’s doing it all over the place

Chun Li is gonna be an A-tier character, much like SFV, most of her match-ups will be 6-5's and at worst a few 5-5s. However, her heavy execution and setups for damage are variables that will make it difficult to win a big tournament with her. She could end up winning a tournament early on though since people are still learning the game and how to really deal with her, but still, a dropped combo is all it takes to lose a match.

Cammy already Will have good representation with Punk and Kazunoko playing her. Chun however, needs representation and Sako will get the job done :)
