If you take a look at enough other members(especially whenever they're new), Marine seems to put in a lot of footwork to grease the wheels of cooperation/socializing between a lot of them(literally playing troubleshooter, apologizing for things someone else did so the offended party will be more inclined to accept said apology, or making introductions. Generally speaking, she plays diplomat behind the scenes a lot it seems(also considering how often she ends up collabbing with those outside of Hololive as well, I suspect she's using her corporate/work force experience to the benefit of her fellow Vtubers~

hate to be the party pooper, but she said "put her head into high gear." The literal translation is "make my head go in full rotation." Full rotation is a similar idiom to "put into high gear" in English, using the metaphor of a machine and gears to illustrate working something hard.

actually, certain farms are easy to repair. Especially drop farms as long as you didn't break the crucial parts on the spawn chambers.

I love how calm aqua was. She had the correct reaction to an unexpected situation and then solved the problem to the best of her abilities. Yes, it's only a minecraft thing, but we could learn and apply this to real life

This whole moment was so wholesome. It not only shows how responsible and actually capable Aqua is as she rebuilds (and improves) the tower, but it also highlights how much of a nice person Marine is. She wasn't logged in when the accident happened, yet the whole time she acts like she was at fault as well and goes out of her way to apologise with Aqua and work on the reconsturction. This easily could've gotten toxic, yet instead of blaming one single person for the accident, they all took the blame and worked together to fix the problem.
Goes to show what a nice community Hololive is. Despite all the memes, I think the biggest takeaway from this was how something potentially disastrous only served to once again prove that Hololive not only can be, but often is really wholesome as well.
This had zero chance of "getting toxic". I don't know why anyone would think Hololive are going to get mad over blowing each other's stuff up in Minecraft, that's *_the vast majority of their channel's comedy in Minecraft._* They have been doing stuff like this *_forever._*

Marine sticks around here because she knows a good comedy set-up when she sees one. Aqua enjoys dominating at Minecraft, stuff like rebuilding Pekora's machines from memory and trial & error. If Pekora had shown up and acted "angry", well dude, _that's Pekora's gimmick._ "Toxic" is all in your head bro.
@@MegaZeta I will admit, maybe "toxic" wasn't the best word to use, but let me explain.
There is a big difference between (even accidentally) destroying something as a joke, and accidentally destroying a complex structure that is used by everyone to get their characters up to speed. Even when something gets accidentally blown up, he intention was to set up some prank anyway, so there is not much guilt there as it was intended as a joke from the firstplace.
I am not iplying that Pekora would show up and get mad that someone undid her hard work. She's not that kind of person - at most, she'd get a bit bummed out... which is more than enough. But worse than that would be Aqua feeling guilty for something that was not only a big accident but potentially had large consequences (assuming she wasn't able to rebuild it the farming spot would be gone). This could've easily soured the whole stream. It could've even ended the stream. But she pushed through, and Marine stuck with her the whole way through to cheer her up.
This might come down to different cultures, but in Japan a situation like this could easily result in people feeling guilty and responsible. The whole thing would get very awkward. Not because others would be yelling at them, but because the person themselves would feel bad. I'm not saying this as some turbo weeb with a "I think this is how Japan works, wow it is so different!", this is coming from years of playing games in jp communities. Moreso, what prompted me to make this comment was reading through the discussion in the jp equivalent of this clip, where the majority of the comments were about what I tried to (poorly) convey above. Thought it was a very interesting contrast to the comment section here where most people treat it as a prank instead.

It is possible that it is because of the glass blocks. I would make it(hitting area) lower or put slabs in between it in order for it to be more safer.

Isn't it because people are worried she might cause another explosion and make things worse? She had been panicking during the whole one hour, and a careless mistake or two were bound to happen with how she was acting.
People underestimate Aqua because of her Baqua persona. I think this proves that she actually really have a high IQ. Fixing someone else redstone contraption is high level meta thinking. You first need to know how redstone circuit works then you need to know how the creator intended it to work.
IIRC, it's just a few people in the chat that keep asking her to call Pekora. Pretty sure it's less than 1‰ (From EN chat, dk about JP chat).
I think most of the people in the chat believed in her and didn't want to fill up the live chat so aqua can see the advice from chat.
Edit: What annoys me is that there is actually 2 morons fighting in the chat non stop regarding "the rules". What happened was people keep typing Pekora and someone said pls follow "Rule of not bringing up other vtber unless I do"? Then they start arguing who is right and just spamming non stop in the chat.

we almost see the great war between usada contruction vs resistance move (it will epic if happen), credit to aqua that feels bad about it and determined no stream end until fixing it, and credit to senchou that already tired (5~ hour minecraft stream) but decide to accompany and give mental support to aqua.
It was actually the fault of the builder, Pekora. There needs to be glass in a complete rectangle around where the mobs fall. If the corners are left open a creeper on the far side enough line of site to explode if a player crouches and goes into the corner. She needs to glass up the corners so no one can hit from the corners, only the sides :)
The problem with this construction is not only is it built poorly in some ways, it's also built in a problematic spot.
...So basically you're saying that Pekora inadvertently PRANKED AquaMarine!

its not so much the corners, but the one side (near the chest before explosion ) has a depth of 2 blocks. from my memory and understanding of minecraft mechanic, mobs can only look down and attack at roughly 45° angles. (1 block down per 1 block horizontally) so the creeper on the far side (away from the chest) can see you if your standing between the chest and kill platform. and since there were too many mobs the creeper couldn't move forward and lose aggro resulting in boom.
basically, kill zone needs to be 1 deep in the direction your killing, otherwise solid block to prevent boom.
@@cranberrysauce61 instead of doing that extremely complicated fix ( you need to rebuild the kill platform which also meant you have to disable the farm and enable it again ) you can add trapdoors onto the kill zone and a top half slab on the 2 block on the platform. This means the height should be 1.5 and you can still enter by sneaking but the mobs will never detect you because their line of sight will be blocked by the slabs since they are elevated by the closed trapdoors.
If built properly you can barely hit the legs of the mobs but the mobs will never detect you.
