Hey Jason . . . What’s the Wyoming connection? We have a handful of acres in central WY and I plan to start rotational grazing system with horses/pigs/sheep+goats/chickens in the Spring. Nice looking operation you’ve got there.
Does he have a paddock of his own then, how close can you keep him to the ewes without him being too frustrated? We managed to keep our ram separate for about a week when we got him, haha, after that he escaped to to ewes (we were gonna breed anyway but it was a bit early) 🐏
Yes, a dedicated paddock for rams. Keeping more than one together I think helps a bit more than just having one isolated. I keep them pretty close to ewes at times, but my fence is hot as a firecracker. PremierOne’s electronet has always done the job for us.
Thanks for the useful info and tips.
You got it, hope it helps!🤠

Honestly…I just really like bison!🤠
When do you take him away then as soon as he has bread all his use or do you let them run with them until they have little ones
I let them run together all winter. I don’t pull him out until lambing.
