He is a truly gifted actor. He adds a positive kick to the show. I don't think they should get romantically involved. Being a good friend is far better. I like seeing his softer side, but his shark-like portrayal of the scheming lawyer is much more interesting to my mind and he does it to perfection. Love his gorgeous suits, ties & braces. He should have his own series.
In my head and heart Barson is endgame. He was the best partner liv has ever or will ever have. He was always there for her, they always had each other’s backs.. it’s the ‘Rafa’ and ‘Liv’ for me. It’s how much chemistry they had, I wholeheartedly believe they were in love with each other. I could cry just thinking about it 😭🤍🤍

Out of all the relationships Liv has ever had, I always felt this one would be endgame because she and Barba are actually friends and those are the longer lasting relationships.
When she needs advice, she goes to him. When she needs to vent, she goes to him and he just listens making her feel heard. The same goes the other way round.
I used to think I was the only one who noticed that he always looked back to Liv in court, almost every time, spanning all six seasons.
And at first, I thought I imagined the jealousy when it came to Tucker, but that immediate defense of him not knowing Stabler, the fact that Liv brought it up, him thinking Stabler complicates their interactions, the show just keeps teasing us with the romance without ever outright confirming one and I know what they're doing, this video is proof of that, but I don't like it😅
I just hate how they intensified the tension and sweet moments between them in the season Barba was leaving. Then they never got to have the *one* dinner that Liv accepted on-screen. Then they make him defend the dark side and ruin the closest friendship Barba ever had, in fact them both.
There better be a redemption arc for Barba because if the only purpose of ruining that pure love they had was to justify the Bensler romance, then the writing leaves much to be desired. Even if they don't ever give us the Barson romance, those two at least deserve the friendship they had.
Thanks for giving me this opportunity to rant😅 I feel so much better, however, this video is just so well edited that every single time I watch it, no matter how much I tell myself not to, I end up a teary mess, complete with all the sobbing.😭😭😭 beautiful angst, you're talented.

In my head they had the most in common and he was her best partner they had each other’s backs every step of the way no matter what happened they forgave each other, the chemistry and how much they had in common it was so amazing that they are meant for each other it would be so gruesomely upsetting if barson doesn’t become a real thing I can actual cry just thinking about it and just the way they looked at each other in the courtroom in “livs apartment he would prob say” just everywhere they’d seen each other and the last time she saw him before the new seasons was he kissed her on the forehead they are literally meant for each other words can’t describe how perfect they are for each other
Initially, I wanted Olivia and Elliot together, but too much time has passed between them. I love the chemistry between Olivia and Barba. Without a doubt, Barba has been Olivia's biggest supporter. I hope they are endgame.
The closer she ever got with someone ...off course besides elliot!! Barba represents calmness , elliot is passion and soulmates.

Loved seeing this - I'm a die hard Barson shipper.
I was furious about how they did Barba dirty in the crossover. The writers deliberately chose to have Barba represent Wheatley and not just any other common criminal. When Benson says ''Just so we’re clear: I feel betrayed by you and I don’t know how I’ll ever get over it'' my heart hurt. They need to fix it so we can at least have Barson friendship. Until then I repeat Benson's quote to SVU writera.
Anyway (rant over) it was lovely to see this video and remind myself why I shipped them so hard.

I love Barson with all my heart, this video make me cry. I'm so angry with the scriptwriters. I feel that they want break their relationship because of Elliot, and Barba doesn't deserve this. He is one of the best characters of SVU. I hope that they fix this mess!!

Seems it is forced that Benson suddenly is angry at him and she
never grew up about her feelings for Stabler.
She asked him not to take this case,,, and Barba had to obey ,,..now Wheatley walked free out of his trial and he is dead.
- - who brought the Wheatley in to her life ???
But Barba asked the "Question" about Angela and Stabler...
Again she should be angry at Stabler.
And Barba is very polite with her, I would go ironically about her blind trust for her ex partner.
But every body wants EO together,,, amen.
After many rewatches, I realised that reason number 3 is repeated. There are two threes and then it continues to 4, so technically there are 65 reasons 😭😍😍

You did a wonderful job 😍😍 it was such a rollercoaster of emotions really, seeing their past interaction and then what happened in the end was really heartbreaking 💔 he always pushed her to be the best version of herself and that she had the abilities to be a great mom and a good leader to her team. Let's not forget how he looks at her every time and the way he always turned to look at her in court, that was their thing and still it is even when he is on an opposite side of her. A really great job really 😍😍 hope they will solve things between Rafa and Liv and hope to see more videos of this two from you 😊

I just recently started to really watch the seasons that have Barba, and I haven't got this big of an obsession of a character, for so long. I mean, he is just so perfect, but imperfect and with Benson, aahhhhh, my heart can't decide if I'm romantic or best friends type of Barson fan, but anyway, I love the chemistry, all of it🥰
I always felt that chemistry between them even long before I knew about "Barson" and it made me very happy to know that I wasn't the only crazy person who saw something there. But with everything that happened after his departure, I cried and I continue to cry for such a move; and that from something so natural that it was noticeable, it became nothing.
Let's be clear, Liv and Rafa are the perfect couple!! He is a charming, gentleman who has always supported Olivia, admires her for how strong she is and makes her shine even more. Every time she is with him you can see that she feels safe and happy (as opposed to Stabler who just confuses her and makes her miserable). Which is why I hope they bring Barba back and make them endgame (or else she's left alone because anything is better than ruining Benson's character development by dragging her into the toxic old Benstabler dynamic)
I love your video so much, thanks a lot for 64 reasons to ship Barson. I love Barson so much. I hope they can fix their relationship in season 24. They deserve each other, if it doesn't work out in a romantic sense, they should definitely save their friendship.

I think that according to the phycology of Liv character is natural she is destinated to Stabler instead of Barba. I do prefer Barba over the rest, but I understand the nature of Liv issues.

I have to say I'm now so confused with who I ship Liv with😂. For me it was always Elliot then I thought wow her and Tucker were also so sweet. Brian was very sweet to her but I wasn't his fan. Now Barson feel so good. But El and Liv are the one for me. Even if its very complicated with El. I'm soo confused. I just want a developement in the show. Its so hard to wait until something really happens, something like a final decision.
