But there are 2 caveats - 1) For govt to implement danda treatment, first they have to be in a position where nobody will point fingers at them. If they cannot provide potholes-free roads, what rights they have of correcting others? 2) There is no incentive for nice law-abiding people to stay that way. On the contrary when he steps out of the house, the system makes every possible effort that he doesn't stay that way.
