Here is a sandbox like no other. Create massive battles with absolutely no limits. Want to see 10,000 chickens fight an army of Romans?? Sure, why not. Want to see a company of WW2 U.S soldiers fight 11,000 Medieval soldiers?? There are simply no limits to the carnage you can achieve in Epic Battle Simulator. Mess around with a massive variety of units. Everything from, Roman Centurions, Medieval soldiers, Knights, Orcs, Trolls, and yes, chickens! The main focus in this game is giving the player no restrictions to what he can do. That is why we decided not to limit the amount of units in battle. Want to see what a battle of 100,000 units looks like? We don't recommend going past 10,000 for most machines but its your CPU, do what you want! On top of that, you can play as any one of the units in the game, getting up close and personal to help change the tides of a massive battle!

When i first saw some heavy armoured troops with shields i was like - "Hey, they might have a chan...oh well, nevermind".
This is a good demonstration that the game is not balanced correctly.

All it would take is them actually using there shields instead of charging in like jackass's.. Specially the Romans and Spartans..

@@goldenghost2676 there's a limit to what arrows can actually penetrate. In real life, the archers would have killed exactly zero armored walker tank things. The penetration into modern body armor would be nearly zero, and going through shields might be possible, but not enough to kill quickly. Archers were powerful in their time for sure, but not vs. MG42s.... and machine gunners would never be in the formation they were in, nor that close. A single machine gunner could take out 100 people in tight formation in about 10 seconds. The ONLY way to get them to lose to even 10 times as many archers is to pack them super tightly at really close range.
So yes, this game is not balanced properly. Very few programmers understand how to treat armor vs projectiles that normally would do zero damage to that armor in real life.
@@JathTech that’s not unbalanced that’s unrealistic, contrary to popular belief there is a difference. If the game were to be in the format you’ve described archers wouldn’t be very effective, they couldn’t do damage to most of the units (many have shields and/or heavy armor) and they wouldn’t do damage to any modern units, modern units would be able to gun down any units even the powerful midevil ones, thus making modern units be practically un killable, that would be unbalanced. Realism in games like this makes games unbalanced. If anything this game is pretty balanced in most aspects

@@lorenzopeverelli7819 it really doesn’t matter how many arrows come from a single direction you know? Unless they penetrate the shield or somehow magically bypass them they shouldn’t do any damage. Seeing as the shields are metal there’s absolutely no excuse for the archers to triumph.
@@informationoverload2487 the shield does not fully cover the body, the arrowheads are also made from metal, plus there are 10 arrows per person so Its not totally inaccurate

Full knight armor is almost 100% protection against arrows, in reality there are no health bars and armor. Arrows don't pierce armor! The heavy infantry should have won without loss! And the archers had to run away, also a kind of victory. Hollywood awful.
I have never seen that many T-Rex in one place. It's a scary sight to behold.

Without air support or tanks, archers fighting using modern tactics and small unit ambushes can give modern armies a very hard time actually. There is a reason why bows are still used in many of the world's special operations forces, like South Korea, China, Australia, and the UK.

I call bull crap on archers vs machine gunners. 1000 gunners down and only 50 archers down, Bull. Each of those gunners would have fired a 20 round minimum to one arrow flight.
So what's going on is a numbers game.
Put this way. Both sides are easily within minimum range distance. The archers outnumber gunners 10 to 1. In the first flight of arrows, only 1 out of every ten arrows need hit for the first flight of arrows to let the archers win. And the archers have advantage of an arc.
Meanwhile, in the same amount of time, the gunners need for every comparable equivalent to take out 10 enemies.
But it's more than that. The gunners are firing on a line and the body blocks bullets. If the bullets fly in close enough succession, then 2 bullets in the same line hit the same target, not separate ones. Thus reducing bullet efficiency.
In real life, obviously 2 things wouldn't happen. 1--the archers would never get within range to be able to fire volleys like that. But 2--the gunners would perform sweeping motions rather than linear fire, maximizing round efficiency.
And we can see this effect based on the game result too. The front row of archers directly in front of the gunners is completely dead. But...the back row is practically unaffected, as well as the side rows. The arc of the arrows, the 10:1, the immediate in-range of a full 10000 arrow volley, and the lack of a sweep all cause the efficiency of the gunners to plummet. Mind, the irony here is that in real life, the volley effect of arrows is real--so it would be just as devastating a tactic if they could get the other factors like range and sweep avoidance in their favor.

But in regards to the bullet only staying in one person as an ex military medic I can say solidly secondary casualties with high caliber density or velocity rounds is very real. So depending on the guns you choose that changes. Yes submachine gun round do not usually go through people but from there on up that changes also I used 20 rounds as alow number.
