I am always present for the Low Budget Spire! What Iron Clad card do people take the most even without any synergies in the deck? For me it's Feel No Pain with only Ascender's Bane in the deck. After all, I can always just click card that says "Exhaust" later, right?
Agreed, also because a Feel No Pain can also be a huge help in Chosen and Sentries fights early in the run. Others might be either Evolve or Power Through, one because of the same thing (enemies that put statuses in your deck) and the other because of frontload block
Dark Embrace might be mine. Unless my Nob matchup is looking really dire I usually take it and hope for it to almost singlehandedly carry lategame. If I also happen upon a Corruption later it just gets silly. FNP is also up there though.
power through! I just like having one Big Number Block Card in the deck, and it reliably gives me good exhaust fodder down the line, or occasionally an acceptable reason to take something like fire breathing
i'd like regular tier list or patch tier lists as we go into STS 2. the thing about noting changes in card and patches is that cards and the game itself ar both dynamic during patches, and it's always interesting to hear when a card 'used to be' very good or very bad because of a single fight or mechanical change
