Please visit the Jiri regions too. Make a video about Jiri regions, the homeland of the Jirel people. Who are the Jirel people? It is now known that Jirels is one of the many Kirati descendants. In other words, Jirels are offshoots/branches of ancient Kirat people. According to the Jirel legend, a brother living around Ramechhap district is called Hayu, another brother living in and around Jiri and Suri are known as Jirel and Surel respectively. Another brother living in Likhu Khimti is called Sunuwar. A brother living in Bhojpur and around are known by Rai and the brother living in the far eastern region are called Limbu. But the fact is they are all brothers from the same mother. According to the Surel legends, their forefathers were 5 brothers among whom the eldest was the Surel and whereas the youngest was the Hayu. The second was the Limbu and third was the Rai and the fourth was the Sunuwar. The descendants of these 5 brothers gradually evolved their own individual characteristics and languages. How did the Kirat people got divided into so many smaller groups? The answer is due to the invasion of Licchavis. In the 3rd century, the Kiratis in Kathmandu valley were attacked by the Licchavis who came from northern India. The Kiratis were defeated and Licchavis took over the power in Kathmandu. The defeated Kiratis moved out of the Kathmandu valley and resettle elsewhere. When the Kiratis started moving out of the Kathmandu valley, it is easily understood that the separation of Kiratis started. Kiratis disintegrated into many small groups as Kiratis took a different routes to find their new homes. The Kirati people who settled in the Jiri regions of Dolaka District became what is today known as Jirel, having taken the name from the Jiri. Those Kiratis who stayed behind or left behind in the Kathmandu valley became part of Newar today. Journal of Newar studies (Newah Vijnana) states that among the Newar people, Jyapus are Kiratis who were left behind in the Kathmandu valley. Mali, Maharjan, Dangol, Awale, Suwal, Duwal, Singh, Prajapatis are some of the Jyapus who are identified to be the descendants of the Kirat dynasty. A person who is interested in Nepal's ancient history and the Newar should read the Journal of Newar studies (Newah Vijnana).

I follow you on facebook for so long and always loved your contents however in this episode, you felt sad that you had to pass through India to reach Sandakpur/Sandakphu which lies both in India and Nepal. If any Indian who loves mountains and nature been there, they would feel amused. I felt delighted when I went to Nepal and was standing on the border. I had just the opposite sense then. I am not to say bad things but just to let you know no matter what the govt does or says, Indians have an immense love for Nepal's beautiful places and wonderful traditions. It's sad to see it's not from your side as well.

I'm from West bengal, India. I visited sandakphu in January'21. Indian roads from Mane Bhanjang to Gairibas is really good motorable road, from Gairibas to sandakphu, the condition is not that good. To our good luck that time when we visited the weather was clear and we could see Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Three Sisters' Peak and The Perfect Sleeping Buddha.
Brother, Indian here. Went for the Sandakphu-Phalut trek 2 week back, your video just reminded me all the beauty. Now, the plan is to explore the Eastern Nepal.

I've got a few comments though 1- Background music ma nepali song or music haru rakhda ajha ramro hola..rather than putting pointless english music..after all video is about promoting Nepal. 2 - Please don't rush through your trips..spend more time at your destinations...Sandakpur finally pugey paxi weather ramro thiyena..sandakpur ko scene haru kei pani present garnu bhayena...euta fix schedule follow garnu bhanda try to be flexible..if weather is not good ..stay an extra day or two..try to capture the place at all its glory. I know there will be some constraints but try to fulfill the purpose of your videos.
