    I know that vinyl stretches and expands in weather, it was brave to try

      The funny thing is after this video the panels didn't even fit. I miscalculated the width of the parts under the armrest. Re-did it to just a surface mount, no recess.

    You do great work Bro…2 Questions
    You like painting or wrapping more?
    And what city you in?

    • @TheInkhousecustoms
      @TheInkhousecustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man, I prefer painting. Wrapping is cool I just like the effects you get from paint depending on what type of finish your looking for. And unfortunately I'm not in any city, I live in the US Virgin Islands.

      I recommend to go on Amazon and get a 4way stretch vinyl. It's better for shapes and will hold longer.

    Which glue for the vinyl ?

    • @TheInkhousecustoms
      @TheInkhousecustoms  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's weldwood contact cement the industrial grade, it's red not yellow like the others. Or you can use the classic top and trim cement from the same brand, This one is sprayable from a siphon feed spray gun.

      How were you able to menuver and manipulate the vinyl ?. Once it touches it sticks like solid .

      Lay one side down and slowly work it I. The places that you want. In corners must be placed in, not stretched in. But the best vinyl to use to these jobs are 3way vinyls. The one I use is 1way but I mostly only use it on flatter panels with few recesses.
