greekfire995 I think he meant ironic that a underwater theme is closely related to a theme in an underwater game, except that the theme is played for the one level you aren’t in water
Out of all the games I’ve played throughout my entire life for some reason spongebob supersponge has always stood out more than any other game, I guess cause it reminds me of my childhood so much.
Couldn't agree more! All of the tracks are original, and yet they all sound like they could come from the actual show. This games ost just completely radiates the feeling of early Spongebob's atmosphere. A true masterpiece that Matthew Simmonds created here.
Because of game logic, THE HELMET REQURES YOU TO CONSTANTLY REFILL IT. It makes sense, but doesnt happen in the show. imagine what tea in the tree dome wouldve been like if this is how it worked in the show, spongebob wouldnt last 15 seconds without water!
The only game that's entirely comprised of water levels but the only dry level is still a water level.
A-R-E-S LOL
This game has the best water levels of any game ever, then.
so basically the anti-labyrinth zone of this game
is the fucking labyrinth zone of this game
This is the perfect "I'm outside with fresh air" music, fitting considering the level.
Mariobro4
Really also helps you visualize and gives the determination to climb a tree.
Stated beautifully!
Man, the helmet timer gives the level a Sonicesk water level vibe to it.
Ironically, to the only level in the game not actually in water.
yeh...that's kinda silly
not counting the (much better) gba version
Does anyone else remember the terrifying dry-Sponge face from battle for bikini bottom?
Ironic for a game where you play as fish to not be able to breathe out of water?
greekfire995 I think he meant ironic that a underwater theme is closely related to a theme in an underwater game, except that the theme is played for the one level you aren’t in water
Spongebob you silly ol Sponge, try using your helmet!
antwon369 when you forget to jump in the water
When that timer popped up it used to scare me when I was little lol.
antwon369 wen you about to die and jump off and land on sandy
BUT SANDY IT NOT W O R K
Spongebob: HOW BOUT NO!
Did anyone else find this level disproportionately hard for the first world?
Especially if you're trying to collect all 100 spatulas and on top of that avoiding the risk of dying
This is honestly the best song in the whole game
Um, Lava Fields? Thermal Tunnels? Inside the Whale? Heck, maybe even Oil Rig?
I don't know Those songs are also great
Every single theme from World 2, 1, 3, and....
You know what, EVERY song in this game is THE best.
I would argue Oil Fields/Oil Rig as best!
@@ajdynamo6866 I would too, but Sandy's tree dome is definitely superb
This legit gives me nostalgia

I feel that man

I love this music
The best soundtrack on this game. This song is enough to symbolize my childhood
This song always made me so sad as a kid, I don't know why! It's the only song I can clearly remember off the OST.
It makes me sad too. I guess I just find the melody a bit melancholic.
Ahh, Sandy’s tree dome, where no water lives!
Spongebob is also drying up, get him something to drink, for seanut sake!
Read this comment doing my impression of frenchie the narrator

Just hear that bass, I freaking love it.
Soundtrack de los GOD
Often I find myself humming this tune outside in the fresh air, on a hike somewhere up high. :)
Watch out for those acorns!! You don't wanna lose your spatulas after all that climbing!!
Somehow they'd always manage to hit me right at the end
The ost is so frekin Good!!!
Sure is :)
sounds like a shop theme
Oh, in a way it does.
Hey well come to the tree dome shop ya want jazz?
*"I NEED IIIIIIIT!!!"*
I feel the same way about this level
every aquaticneptune spongebob video ever
mind you you'll have infinite water on the GBA version in this level if you find the helmet
Why does the version I own sound so much more different. Like this version has a better atmosphere than the one my PS1 has. WHY!?
Mangombage It's a direct pre-console rip. The quality of the song decreases when played out of the PS1.
Captain Demozan Yeah, that would explain the bubbly sounds...
Downtown Bikini Bottom (GBA)
Do you know how games like Sonic always has a water stage? Supersponge seems to be the complete opposite.
This is like when you play Sonic and you are affraid of drowning... but the other way around.. weird, huh.
Ya silly old sponge, try using your helmet
AquaticNeptune vibes
AquaticNeptune anyone?
I can hear the overworld theme from NSMBU in here
Omg, i return to my 7 years
SpongeBob, you silly old sponge. Try using your helmet.
True
I always wondered why spongebob have to wear a leaky helmet on this level lol
you should play the GBA version XD
@@sgnjamcitydevteam6913 ironically got that recently due to the lonely goomba tho I grew up on the ps1 version
En la versión de Game Boy Advance se escucha el tema Downtown Bikini Bottom de Spongebob Squarepants Supersponge
I can’t believe this kind of music came out of a GBA game.
This is the PS1 version, though the GBA soundtrack is really good.
tbh if you dont care about getting 100 spatulas this stage is so easy to complete
Cool game👍👍👍
presentando a mis asistentas (lucina jr)
This stage is dread.
It's the Downtown theme from the GBA version. It's the version I grew up with.
