Simpsonville, SC is still considered a nice place to live with charm and quaintness in its town center, but plenty of the long-term locals in that city have greatly voiced their disdain and dislike for the unrelenting and constant over development in the area with large subdivisions of 200++ new houses each going up everywhere, the overly congested traffic patterns now commonplace throughout the city, and the rapid depletion of its small town feel into a suburban mecca. Once again, another nice place that people relocated to to get away from congestion and over development is being completely destroyed by greed, congestion, and over development. Wow! Nice walk and talk tour of Simpsonville, SC, Timothy! GOD bless!
Thanks for the information. Towns can definitely get strained if development goes unchecked.
Thank you for these videos. I am a native Charlestonian, and looking to move to a small town within the next year. I want to stay in S.C. I'm looking for a small town that has some modern conveniences, but is not excessive. (Traffic, tourists, cost of living) Your videos help me to narrow my search. Thank you again.
You’re welcome. I hope you find the perfect hometown when you finally decide to move.
I enjoyed your tour. Hoping you are enjoying this holiday season.
I am. Getting ready to go see some family right now.
What's your favorite small town around Greenville?
I lived there for 26 years. I used to go to Howard's all the time. And the area is called the Golden Strip. The name goes back to the 1950's when Greenville Water System first ran water mains into southern Greenville County.
Thanks, I could not think of the name to save my life that day
Thank you sir
You’re welcome
These videos are interesting and very helpful. I'm looking to move to the area and it's good to see what it really looks like without any hype or sales pitch.
Thanks. I prefer to see a town as it is without the hype myself.
Merry Christmas and blessings to you and your family! 🌟
