In one of your older videos you ruled that lawsuit settlements or severance packages can be used to determine child support. I was confused how this could be the case because it isn’t a consistent stream of income. So if it is ruled that they have to pay increased child support because of the settlement, do they have to come back for an adjustment once it runs out? Love your videos btw!

Any child support is good, I never got a penny from my ex husband to help with expenses for my three children. However I did go to court and a child support order was issued, even though he ignored the court order. I worked and sacrificed and was glad to do it because my kids are university educated and all working good jobs. I’m proud of them and proud of myself.
I'm with you I had the same thing. Rather ticked me off . But it made me work harder to do what I could. Thank heavens the kids have grown into adults now.
