I’m loving this 🥹 being that I barely had 6 years with my father before everything fell apart and it was just me, my mom, and my brother, I get a lot of feels and enjoyment out of seeing this kind of thing. I love to see a father and daughter together in such a lovely way. Like, in this.. a father taking pride in sharing his years of experience with who, to him, will always be his little girl, no matter how grownup. Teaching her how to fix and maintain things she passively watched him do as she grew up, just warms my heart completely ^-^ Too many of us were not fortunate enough to have that. Whether or not anyone sees it, it does do damage. Of course, I know there are dads and parents that don’t understand what it means or aren’t fit to be a guardian, and I’m very sorry if you experience that. Remember, it’s not your fault. Break the cycle by being a better person. Parents are far more fallible; they should know more than someone who’s only been walking the earth for a handful of years. Okay.. this took a turn… just… everyone.. practice being good people!

Batteries are not charged when you buy them, simple reason for longevity and to not damage a battery while it is sitting on a shelf, batteries are left on a storage charge. rechargeable batteries have a certain voltage range that they will be put at from the manufacturer so that in a year or however long it takes a customer to buy that battery, when they buy it, it won't be dead. For example a lipo battery like the ones in Roman's rc cars, drones, ect should be kept at 3.8 to 3.85 volts if it is not being used for more than 6 hours and above. If you charge a lipo battery and leave it for a year, you will come back to a battery that has puffed up and likely a cell or 2 being at 0 volts. Whats basically happening is every battery has a reaction happening inside. depending on where the volts are on it will speed or slow that reaction down. the storage charge is the optimal voltage where it will last the longest will call it and full charge is definitely the worst, now each battery chemistry will react differently. Lipo batteries are very powerful but are not as stable. meaning fire if not treated right. if those cells are punctured and oxygen reacts with the lithium, you will get a intense reaction. Life (Lithium Iron phosphate) batteries on the other hand are a very stable battery chemistry. not as powerful as lipos but still better than Lithium Ions. I have punctured those cells before and all they will do is leak electrolytes and warm up slightly which indicates a reaction cause heat is a product. But there is no explosion or fire. these batteries also dont care as much about storage charge and perfect treatment because they are more stable. They still will have a recommended storage charge but they don't seem to care as much from my experience.
