Nice, that is actually how motorcycles get shipped. I used to work in a motorcycle shop doing recieving and bike prep before they went on the showroom. Some came in wood crates but the cheaper models were a metal cage in a box like that. Rarely got damaged even when stacked (despite being marked to never stack them)

Been a subscriber for a couple years now. You guys are my favorite scooter reviewers out their. I picked up the bronco xtreme 11 because of you guys. Ive had it for just over a year and love that thing. Zero issues has been very reliable not even 1 flat. Ive put 15,000 miles on it. Im selling it for 3k and will be picking up the bronco vnow xtreme 11. Its the same body and shell of bronco xtreme 11 with the same internals as vnom. Pretty much an upda5ed bronco. New headlights, turn signals, horn, led lights in took and kick plate and new screen with a massive 50ah battery. Ordering directly from bronco so saving some money. If you guys are ever in seattle and want to review it just hit me up. Keep up the dope videos. Peace gents!

Nice initial review! When will Dualtron smarten up and upgrade from squarewave to sinewave??….especially for high performance scoots. So much quieter and much better power control….as you both already know.

@@GlitchChaos dude great choice! I hear it's a beast. It's the whole package. I love that it has a screen, a lot of new bigger ones don't have that. I'm 6'6" so I'm thinking I'll have to go for something with at least 18". But if I was shorter I'd def get a V12.
@@multigreenman1238 Hopefully it'll be fun! I'm actually worried about the screen, Chooch broke the screen on his pretty much the first day... But I won't be going as hard as he does for awhile! I am planning to build a bumper for it though to give a little protection.

They should really make tire changing easier on those things for $7k

7k and it’s still not better than the RION electric scooter. I guess this channel isn’t patient enough to spend the same amount of money and wait entire year for the scooter to come in worth it but not sure they’re willing to do that.

Very nice, but at $7k, that's a lot of coin for a scooter! Is it really THAT much better than a WK GT, which is less than half the price for fairly similar performance?
Really need transportation to get to work...but way outta my range price why's...looking for something...else you guys are great..for reviews..fantasy though.

Andrew I just purchased one and I'm a having a lot of difficulties finding the P settings. I should say the correct P settings. What are they? Help please! Do you have any other settings other than Old Man Dan. I tried that and it's not working correctly

How is the x holding up was it worth the purchase?
@@brbfitness9346 I didn't ride it enough tbh, it´s a great machine overall, but with it´s flaws, main ones being the short and straight handlebars that are very uncomfortable on long rides, it´s very rough on the turns, because of the fat large wheel and big hub motor on the front that it acts like a big counterweight fighting you on the turns.
With practice It is manageable, but if you like to push it, you will very likely have some close calls. I will keep it for now because I need something with this kind of range, but I don´t think it is a safe scooter to push the limits. Hard to ride hard. These are my thoughts.
@@-meganeura I appreciate your feedback. I’ve been struggling to get a real perspective from a “real owner” not just a salesman! You make solid points I’ve been stuck deciding between this and the new emove roadster. I love the range of the x limited but not sure how tamed it can be with the square wave controllers i love the range but afraid I’ll get caught in a down poor! I don’t want to cry 7000$ tears smh. But if it’s not the most comfortable I wonder if the range really matters! Good points thanks for your time friend! Very helpful
@@brbfitness9346 One day I was taking some photos of the DTX2 with a firefighter helicopter in the background hovering while in training exercises, you know, with a ground crew installing the bucket and after that doing the water discharges on a target etc, you probably already know were this is going, :)
After some discharges, he passes right over me and of course, shower me and the DTX with sprinkles from the bucket , not a full charge , he just opened an mostly empty bucket, lol, obviously trolling me.
I replied with the irate fist in the air, but I could not stop smiling. That was the coolest interaction I had with it so far.
About the Emove roadster looks very very good, sinewave etc... better option than DTX , but Still cant change the handlebars , hopefully is more ergonomic. but I dont think so... BTW This DTX limited is a better machine than my DTX 2 UP, it is longer and it seams to have better smoother throttle control / mapping and more everything...

Crazy. This is going to catch up with the PEV community at some point. Cops seem like they mostly don’t care, but it just seems like at some point somebody is going to have to say: “that is a motorcycle.”
when they start weighing what motorcycles weigh and start having the hp of a motorcycle, then and only then will they become equally dangerous. Not that I'm saying they are "safe" I'm just pointing out that a 700 pound motocycle with a couple hundred hp can do much more damage to other people then and PEV can... not even close.

They are unregistered, don’t have any insurance, don’t require any demonstrated competence to be out on the road, don’t have any design requirements, and a host of other things. You are basing your argument on potential severity of individual accidents, but that doesn’t take account of risk of accident per mile travelled or any other consideration. By power level and speed, this would meet the criteria for being called a motorcycle where I live, and it’s strange to argue laws should be binary (ie it’s not a motorcycle, anything goes; now it’s a motorcycle: rules). Somebody could do way more damage on this than a 60 pound, 30 mph scooter, they aren’t the same thing at all.
I doubt anyone thinks that’s a motorcycle we in 2023 brother not the 2000s 😂
@@philmcmorris2468 The law here is mopeds are 50cc or 1,500W and up to 35 mph, beyond that are motorcycles. Scooters aren’t allowed to go faster than 20, which the police don’t care about, but there’s a big difference between going 30 and 65. One they might ignore, the other maybe not.
In Tennessee, if you stand on it, it’s bicycle laws. Seated is another thing
As an EUC rider, I'm wondering how/where you park this thing. Too big to bring inside. Too small to safely park outside. Are there features like a wheel lock and a motion sensor that dissuade thieves? Also, like @Mark Ernst said, those scoops on the bottom will inevitably catch water, and I'm wondering if the scooter is designed to tolerate that.
Those scoops are just for cooling the battery box from the outside, they don´t go inside battery compartment.

37 years ago you could buy a Honda CBR600F for almost half the price of this. With a 12 second 1/4 mile with 135 mph top speed. I love inflation.
It's for fun bro not for anything eles it's a whole different feeling.Better than riding a motorcycle or a car.I perfer to stand up on it because it's a better over all experience.

You won't regret it, you can adjust the throttle acceleration speed, I have mine on 3 and it makes it feel like a sinewave controller, just absolutely buttery smooth

There was another video I was looking for but this would I'm in the. Process? Of doing. Research on scooters? I'm. Gonna? Be purchasing one in the next few weeks my range is from seven thousand to 10000 maybe a little one that I'm looking at is weeped and the 1 you just wroad. But I'm doing research on breaking. There was one that gave a red flag where at a high point. And taking it off but the person that wrote it lost function. I guess you can put it that way. Another one that I had watched was the throttle. He got confused with the brake and took off so I'm looking at all these things but I wanted to ask you. What's a good recommendation and Is weped on top of them all?
Dualtrons are the only ones that still use Squarewave motors, i dont know why they keep putting noisy motors on it....

I know the cost goes into battery/motors etc. But why can't they pinch switch gear from motorcycles instead of Ali express parts bin.
Brother I hope you get a chance to ride it because this thing is truly a beast. The only bad thing about it is the steering. I looked into errex steering damper for it but they said that because the Lower Lights are where they are they cannot install it. Other than that. Stellar. I got to Kaabo King GTS

In NYC every other day you see reports of the batteries in these things going on fire, with a battery this massive i'd be very nervous.
I never see them report what actually caught fire, though. I wish there was some data on what exactly the model of the thing that caught fire was, was it using stock batteries and charger, and did it have any aftermarket modifications. It’s hard to evaluate the risk not knowing those things. Rather than throwing the baby out with the bathwater, it would help to know if there were brands that are uniquely dangerous, shops that do shoddy mods, etc. I guess it’s better for them to suggest: “battery=fire.”
@@Nemonurwingy from what I’ve been told, the general problem is that they have these huge amount of batteries charging over night, one of them malfunctions and you get a chain reaction of 10’s even hundreds of them all igniting. But yea they don’t really have any data on if these are specific batteries, they’re usually “e-bike” batteries. But it’s not clear if they’re custom, or a certain manufacturer.
I have seen these reports (although no every other day, by any means) and each time it's some no name knock off brand PEV.. I have yet to see a higher end brand that uses quality cells have this issue. (Dualtron, La Croix, In motion, etc)
@@legacytesla I’d be curious where you see that. I see no mention, usually just a photo of the carnage, and in a few cases I’ve seen them call it an ebike when the photo shows it was a stand up scooter.
@@legacytesla yea it’s not literally every other day thankfully that’s a massive exaggeration on my part. But by my count (not official at all) we’ve had at least 6 serious fires (2 alarm or higher) this year involving these batteries. I own a OneWheel myself so these make me nervous, especially after seeing the tests of how a one wheel battery fire would look like.

Of course not, these are just air ducts underneath the deck to help make the air flow faster under the battery and around the controller heatsinks, battery is inside the deck.

My dualtron x2 up goes 65 mph so It's no faster it just have 15 ah more battery and more volts.Scooters are fun but the tires and breaks are trash.Should make the breaks electric and make way better quality tires.They cost more than car tires but they trash.
i guess you've never tried a high end one, if you have one with good hydraulic brakes you'll lock the wheels without much effort, even on mine i can lock the tires and do inverted wheelies on just mechanical brakes, which is impressive as me and my scooter together weighs almost 170kg together, and the stupid mechanical disk brakes (not even hydraulic) are more than strong enough to lift the weight of the scooter and me up by braking
the tires are much cheaper than car tires aswell, a set of car tires cost like €600 or more for a cheap car (not even quality brand) vs high end PMT tires for scooters with more grip than you'd imagine for like €60 a piece
X limited is the same speed as X2 but higher battery and range
This charger will charge my e-scooter in half hour and burn my house to.
I would love riding that thing on our Autobahn but, it will be never legal riding a scooter that fast on Public Road highest speed for E- Scooter 20 km/h 16mls fast max , and an EUC willl never be legal on Public Roads we are busted over here with our street laws , no speedlimit but not legal riding an euc on specially made bicycle road . That being said...the X is a nice scooter. It's a tank for sure. That price though 😂 . Who am I to say though. I started riding e scooters in 2020 because I couldn't do much of anything else with the shutdown.
let's be fair, whoever retails this adds about a 50% markup.
With the economy in the shape it's in and the uncertainty of how strong the banking systems foundation is most people will turn away from these "elite class" electric scooters.

7000 for a scooter is insane.
Add a seat, and it's pretty much an electric motorcycle. It is a blast to ride and can go over 100 miles in range so you could easily replace a vehicle with it.
