Tarek is trying too hard and I don’t think he’s over her. Just my opinion.

Not much has been written about Ant's 1st wife except her name. Let's not speculate about why they broke up after 12 yrs (it happened to me after 32 years!!!!). But they WERE already divorced when Ant and Christina met, so no hanky panky there. They made blending their kids a priority. The 6 of them went on vacations together and his kids were a part of their wedding. But Ant could live only in one place so he moved to California while his teen age kids stayed "across the pond" with their mother. Then came the coronavirus. Ant's planned trip to the UK was scrapped til Aug. It obviously took a toll on him. While he was grateful for social media to be in touch "live", criticisms affected him and he said he needed to block many people, shut off his social media, and fix his mental health. His lifestyle with Christina is not conducive to that. It is a whirlwind and always busy with no downtime or just quiet family time. He is way more low key and private than Christina is. I think being in that environment and missing his kids affected him tremendously and they came to the realization that they're not really compatible. It's a terrible situation because now there's a new baby in the mix.

Divorce is awful, especially for children. And now there is another little boy. Christina seems to be a good mother, but her attitude to men is competitive rather than complimentary. Ive watched the body language and she comes across as "Brittle" By that I mean she is very concerned with "Posing" before cameras. If you watch the interaction between Chip and Joanna Gaines, Ben and Erin Napier, or the other couple shows like the Desert flippers, you see warmth. Tarek seems much more relaxed now with the new Girl friend I personally think both men were taken for a ride. Both seem more basic down to Earth people and Christina seems to be attracted to this kind of person then when its not all about her? Both are nice men and I never liked the way she always was challenging Tarek. Irritated me a bit. She is young and maybe will grow up but life isn't always all about you. Shame on HGTV, if you can, why not? You want to know why, because it's disgustingly outrageous. What a way to role model. I think she's already divorced, nice. What a shame that people don't appreciate their privilege and share the wealth. She is selfish and sickening. I sure hope she doesn't become a serial dater, introducing new men to her children on and off. They already had to deal with the domestic violence or quasi suicidality crap! The cycle will continue, her kids will live like this and their children and so on and so on. Shallow people who, sadly, might never get it. I couldn't sleep with a conscience if I were her, just hearing about it screws up my sleep!

Divorce is awful, especially for children. And now there is another little boy. Christina seems to be a good mother, but her attitude to men is competitive rather than complimentary. Ive watched the body language and she comes across as "Brittle" By that I mean she is very concerned with "Posing" before cameras. If you watch the interaction between Chip and Joanna Gaines, Ben and Erin Napier, or the other couple shows like the Desert flippers, you see warmth. Tarek seems much more relaxed now with the new Girl friend I personally think both men were taken for a ride. Both seem more basic down to Earth people and Christina seems to be attracted to this kind of person then when its not all about her? Both are nice men and I never liked the way she always was challenging Tarek. Irritated me a bit. She is young and maybe will grow up but life isn't always all about you. I still enjoy watching the show and wish she and Tarek never broke up. (I think she regrets it too, because they had their own 2 children in common. Whereas with Ant she had to share him with his own older children and an ex wife. Now another son!
