I always love your discussion of your pieces as much as I enjoy the pieces themselves! I, too, love Carolyn! I discovered her several years ago, not long before she took her break. I went back and binged all of her episodes and by the time I'd worked my way back to "the present," she was gone. So very happy to see her when she came back. She is such an amazing stitcher and presenter. Congrats on your 1K subs!! The Angel of Love by L&L is a current WIP of mine and the skirt on that angel is earning me tickets to heaven -- honestly!! Congratulations to you on hitting 1000 subscribers! 🥳 I'll have to look up the Flosstube Stitcher. It's weird that channel has never been recommended to me and I haven't heard of her. Another great Flosstube! Seville's tile scapes are amazing! Love the Seville orange tree. As you were saying, for as few colors that are called for, it's well shaded and great choice of font for Sevilla, as well. ❤
Hi Wendy! Thanks! The TH-cam algorithms are strange. The Flosstube Stitcher has over 12K subs. I think I found her early on when searching for Celtic Ladies, otherwise I might not have been prompted for her either. TH-cam seems to keep showing the same things, even things I've watched before instead of offering up new stuff. That Lord Libidan website had some interesting channels on it I've never heard of either in addition to the usual suspects of Pam and Steph, Stitching with Housewives, etc. Those tiles are amazing. I continue to be so impressed with the simplicity yet effective use of colors by The Vivsters. I got lucky that the font I liked also fit, although I did do a little bit modification of it to make it fit a bit better. Thanks again!

Hi there, just wondering if you could show how to stitch letters onto a stocking. I am completing my first stocking but not sure how to stitch the name. I have the chart with the letters but wondering how to center the letters and also how many strands of floss, etc to use for the name. Thank you
Hi Kelly, That's a great idea. I'll put together a flosstube extra tutorial on that topic, but it might be a a month ilor so before I get around to it. FYI--I usually use the same number of strands of floss as used in the main design, unless you're backstitching the letters on top of stitches. For that, I might use two strands as one strand might not be bold enough to read. Hope that helps for now.
