    I love how Michael looks back at Hank right away to check and see if he did it right. Love to see a teacher become a student so quickly and humbly like him. So cool

    I've never hit the ball more pure than when i experimented with Haney's method... But then i started rotating the arms too much too early... Plus i couldn't find away to implement it it pitching. I watched this yesterday after abandoning it for years and one more haney lesson online (there isn't many) and it didn't seem right at first with laying and tipping..but i started looking at shaft parallel in the way down more and it actually is starting to make more sense. He just doesn't divulge much online with his nuts and bolts.. Nor does he in his books... Gotta pay the man for that.

    Dude this is so funny. I agree, a lesson from Hank - priceless - but now you have a 4 piece swing LOL

    I’ve watched in slomo a bunch of times. It seems like he never gets as flat in the actual swing as the practice. But it seems to work. I agree with others, looks like what Malaska teaches.

      Look like Michael would hook the ball with this Haney swing. We couldn't see the ball flight......

      Thats the diference between feel and real. I have plenty of "feels" i use that if i do in slow motion become massivly out of position, but at full speed end up in the right spot.

    Love your attitude. You have such a great swing and results and wonder why change a good thing? What's the thinking behined this? I understand this is good for a bigginer but should we always be looking for a better technique that will take years to perfect?

    • @IronMike212
      @IronMike212 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should always be working to perfect your golf swing. It’s all about tinkering and experimenting. You try different takeaways, backswings, wrist cocks, everything and see what works for you. The golf swing evolves. Ben Hogan made numerous changes throughout the years. Fundamentals stay the same.

    There's no way to change a golf swing quickly. Even the "pros" can't do it.

    Should have gone to Malaska. This is Haney’s weird way of explaining the old Joe Nichols move taught to Mike Malaska.

    I rhink youve got to have the shaft on plane, then on the downswing you drop hands and shaft down to your hips and turn hard keeping a bent right arm.
