I was married to the idiot at the time and didn't have a choice...I HAD to put his name on the birth certificate and she is the spitting image of him...she looks so much like him that she could be his identical twin sister...people could not tell that I was the mother...they thought that I was the stepmother or a babysitter. They would need a maternity suit to see if I was the mother...go figure!!!

I only know a few adult males who actually are thoughtful, considerable, and successfully plan things for others, while being mindful of those who will be in attendance.
Also as a mainly solo hiker and traveler, I wouldn't ever wait for an adult male. Especially during an evaluation or an emergency. Ladies don't risk your personal safety and life waiting for these stubborn adult males. One of the most valuable things that I learned is that you have to be okay with leaving folks where they are!! Self preservation is the first law of nature.

Studies literally prove that men tend to take emergency situations less seriously and only care about themselves. Listen to all the women’s stories in California with the recent fires, it’s disgusting and disturbing knowing how selfish men are.

He pays minimum and she is ok with that but when he becomes hemotional then she can put him in his place by threatening to increase child support if he misbehaves. His addictions needs that money.

My ex had to sign a form to get my kids’ passports last fall. I told him it was just so I could take them on a cruise but in the back of my mind I knew we might need them to flee the country. Not even bothering asking him to get one (for the kids’ sake) because I know he can’t be bothered. I would never get pregnant during this administration. Mom still needed to poke, prod, pressure, and, pester him into renewing his passport--for months. Despite that, he still missed the deadline and Mom and I had to go to a foreign country without him, because he made sure he was the breadwinner (financial abuse) and quit his job in the states. The job in Mexico was our only bet at this point. Mom was SILENT throughout the entire plane ride.

Even if you have the passport sometimes when traveling abroad without the child’s father/mother, you need to have a notarized letter that that parent is giving you permission to take the child out of the country.

Before the election, (because I had a bad feeling) I made sure, me and my two daughters updated our passports because they expired ….because too many people called me an alarmist when I said they’re gonna overturn Roe versus Wade…and then they did…. then I said Trump isn’t gonna pass over power peacefully and they called me an alarmist again and guess what he didn’t do?…. My husband didn’t feel the need to renew his passport. Let’s be honest he’s safe., He’s a middle class white man.

Im glad my difficult ex husband signed the paperwork for my son to get his passport for a school trip a little over a year ago. The annoying pary was that it was weeks before my son turned 16 which is when he could have gotten the passport on his own. Now I have to do the same process for my toddler. I won't be having any children under this administration. I already scheduled with obgyn for an implant.

I had full legal and physical custody, so I got the passport. Then after staying in Ecuador more than 6 months (max tourist time), I was required to have the father sign a “poder especial” because US court judgements aren’t Ecuadorian court. I was detained 4 times!
Finally, My ex went to the Ecuadorian consulate in the US to help get documents , but it could have been me stuck in a country.

I was able to get an Urgent passport in 3 days for my daughter to GTFO of America this pass Jan, when my ex husband didn't sign the papers and I already booked the tickets
I got it with my divorce documents. I ended up calling the passport agency in El Paso Texas and asking them how I can get it and they told me all I need is divorce papers that say I'm sole legal custody and decision maker. I looked through my Divorce documents and saw that I had that. So they gave me a passport for her
My other step was to get the courts to rule him as abandoned his child. And get sole legal custody and decision maker that way
But luckily I didn't have to do that.
If you're not married to the father when the baby is born DONT put his name on the birth certificate. And if he does, get the child a passport as soon as child is born. A divorce can happen and you'll never see the dad again and you'll want to leave America

The crazy part is I think I would survive better in a communist country I've lived in a blue state for 11 years now it's not that great up here but it's better then living in the south because there customs are different so whenever I hear trump say he's throwing education to the states I feel relieved because if your mayor is smart he will place protections on it so he can't mess with it if they don't want to fund it fine we can tax them on all the goods they order from us too..the mountains have plenty of wildlife in it that's why they don't have to raise prices on us it's expensive here for a reason because of the wild life that's why I think it should be apart of Canada.

There is now a requirement that both parents have to be at the passport appt but there is a form that they can sign. If there is a reason they can’t make it to the appt but it has to be one of several valid reasons! Also don’t assume they will have many appts bc I got my passport before the rush of ppl and there were two times I could have come and then weeks of nothing available. I live in a Washington DC suburb and there is no reason for it to be that hard to get appts. So if you live someplace rural I would start right away. If I could go back and just have them put only my name on the birth certificate I would have but at the time he was all joyful about having a baby. It’s just smarter to be the only one on that birth certificate. Maybe say it’s bc you’ve heard certain forms are harder to get if there are two ppl on it 🤷🏻‍♀️ you won’t be technically lying! It will need to be signed in front of a notary public (the form for him to give you permission to travel with your own child). I think it’s actually for safety reasons so ppl don’t take off with a kid to a country where the kid can’t be extradited but effectively it’s a way to take power from single moms.
