High cortisol levels will cause the body to hoard fat around the middle. Try doing yoga or mindfulness techniques several times a day to reduce those levels. A diet high in sugar - especially sugars from alcohol (beer belly, anyone?) also causes fat to gather around the midsection.

I didn't mention it because there isn't a reason we need to get it from animals and look for the "right" meats. Actually, Johnson's Baby Powder has been linked to ovarian cancer. I'd suggest Gold Bond Medicated Body Powder or underarm deodorant. The latter works really well and tends to last longer. 👍🏼

I actually found the opposite to be true in terms of the tightness of clothing. Once I got the confidence to wear tighter clothing I got questions about whether I'd lost weight. I think baggier clothing just hung off my boobs and made me look like a tent 😂
Exactly I have broad shoulders and a large chest but a smaller waist in comparison ( still I bit of a belly on me though) a tighter top and night waisted jeans tend to cover it up very well, better than a loose top at least.

I've been overweight myself, and it's extremely difficult to lose weight with diet and exercise, and it takes a while to learn how to change your eating habits. So, before you say losing weight is easy, make sure you've had experience.
Yeah, most of the people who say that probably haven't even had to lose much weight before. I think its a bit easy if you don't even think about it. I've lost some when I ate better... but it was only like that cause I would make my own food, and then my schedule was just so busy I didnt even have time to munch on random snacks like i usually do.

my legs are a little chubby and they get sore when i walk a lot too. they have this stuff i found at the drug store it's called 'friction defense stick' (ik weirdest name out there) but it's kind of like a lotion (and looks like deodorant tbh) that you put on both legs where they rub and it helps SOOOO much better than the powder option. and it's by Gold Bond so it has stuff in it that will soothe your skin if you already have the rash. instead of using baby powder for chub rub, apply extra strength deodorant where your thighs rub, and A LOT of it! it works for hours and doesn't sweat off. I just discovered that this really works over the summer.

Actually, Johnson's Baby Powder has been linked to ovarian cancer. I'd suggest Gold Bond Medicated Body Powder or underarm deodorant. The latter works really well and tends to last longer. 👍🏼

I actually found the opposite to be true in terms of the tightness of clothing. Once I got the confidence to wear tighter clothing I got questions about whether I'd lost weight. I think baggier clothing just hung off my boobs and made me look like a tent 😂
Exactly I have broad shoulders and a large chest but a smaller waist in comparison ( still I bit of a belly on me though) a tighter top and night waisted jeans tend to cover it up very well, better than a loose top at least.

I've been overweight myself, and it's extremely difficult to lose weight with diet and exercise, and it takes a while to learn how to change your eating habits. So, before you say losing weight is easy, make sure you've had experience.
Yeah, most of the people who say that probably haven't even had to lose much weight before. I think its a bit easy if you don't even think about it. I've lost some when I ate better... but it was only like that cause I would make my own food, and then my schedule was just so busy I didnt even have time to munch on random snacks like i usually do.

I was over weight, I'm 13 and last year during September I was 180 pounds, I changed my diet and ate healthy things and did exercise and now I dropped to 136 pounds. I know from experience of how being over weight is. In only 7-8 months I lost more than 50 pounds

my legs are a little chubby and they get sore when i walk a lot too. they have this stuff i found at the drug store it's called 'friction defense stick' (ik weirdest name out there) but it's kind of like a lotion (and looks like deodorant tbh) that you put on both legs where they rub and it helps SOOOO much better than the powder option. and it's by Gold Bond so it has stuff in it that will soothe your skin if you already have the rash. I just wanted to comment this in case anyone else has this problem and needed help!
